I agree with Kelly's 7 Rings cover! It's unbelievably good because you don't expect much from a song like that but she slayed it. I think one of her worse covers is Nobody Love by Tori. She even admitted cheating and not doing the runs in the climax, but that Ain't No Other Man exposes her weakness more. She has improved tremendously in agility though even the runs she did in the 7 Rings was quite recent.
Lol, the fact that LM don’t have a bad cover after X Factor. Also to be fair on them, it was their first live performance. So for it being their first, I’d say they did pretty good!!
One of the most incredible things about Kelly is how little time she has to rehearse her covers for Kellyoke, and yet she still manages to slay the hell out of pretty much everything. It's almost impossible to pick her best cover. And what's just as amazing, is how she continues to improve her technique, even though it was already amazing. I have to say, I don’t even like Demi… very much at all frankly, but the first two highlighted ad-libs that they did were not only done by Aretha both in studio AND live, as well as in virtually every cover of the song. That's true but I don't think it was his point tho...I don't think he meant those vocal moments don't exist in the original, I think he meant he didn't like the way Demi approached those moments as if Demi just wanted to show off and not actually sing and deliver
How were Demi’s belts “show offy” if Aretha did them? I agree the Whitney one sounded off but the ain’t no way cover has always been one of my favorite covers by them despite the missed high note
For part 2, I hope you include Sabrina Carpenter. She started out as a cover artist on UA-cam and has some undoubtedly amazing covers. Her best, in my opinion, would be God Is A Woman by Ariana Grande.
1:48 i don’t agree 😭 yeah in terms of vocal delivery it was a fail but the emotion and the way they held on despite their vocal condition is just so lovely! but i’ll agree it’s one of their worst
I hope u mention the cover of Whitney Houston of Dolly Partons I will always love you in the next part. Because that cover is so good that people forget that it isn't really her song or at least that she didn't write it. Nice video. Edit fun fact I will always love you is not Whitney's song. It was written by Dolly Parton in the 1970s or something and has been covered a lot. The most well known cover is the one by Whitney Houston, but it still remains Dolly's song as she is the one who wrote it
Whitney's was a different rendition and version. This video was mostly about a live cover, like Whitney covering that's what friends are for. Otherwise a lot of songs can be here like greatest Love of all, it's all coming back to me, power of love, all by myself, at last, hurt, without you etc
In Xtinas defense, I believe she was singing Etta James rendition of stormy weather rather than Lena. If you hear that version you may appreciate xtinas cover a bit more lol
@@stevynsweeney6611 exactly! I really like her 'Stormy weather' cover. The rawness, soul, delivery, story telling, everything was fine to me. I'd say her worst cover might be 'I will always love you'.

I AM a huge little mix fan , but believe me this one is really hilarious. I can't defend it. Well it's their first one , and later they really knew how to showcase their individual strengths. They just kept getting better.
Am I the only one who has no problems with Demi's "worst" covers in this video? I would agree though that they messed up the top notes in Ain't No Way, but generally, it was good. Their I Will Always Love You Cover was also good. Some people only think it is bad because you were trying to hear Whitney. Demi always does a cover following their own style. They do not copy the original singer so do not expect that you would hear Whitney nor Aretha from Demi's covers. At the end of the day, that's exactly how covers are supposed to be done. The cover artist has to give their own flavor to it.
It was after the win. Maybe she just wanted to sing the way she liked or probably she was drunk. The way she swings around the stage just proves that she was definitely 🥴
Most sopranos can't sing Ain't No Way. They just don't have the weight up there in F5#-G5.. Even Whitney struggled mightily and she sang it several tones lower.. Demi did a great job for most of the song, which is honestly more than can be said by most of the pop vocalist scene. Aretha Franklin was a rare talent, and we won't see her like again.
New comment! Christinas Mens world cover is literally one of the best performances in modern pop culture! Fight me on that. But that performance is fire
Demi has such a wide belting range but maaaan that I will always love you performance is rough, the song doesn't even require much belting on the 5th octave but she obviously didn't nail it.
Something sounded really off with Demi's cover of I Will Always Love You, I don't really know technical stuff but their voice sounded oddly deep, like they were trying to sing in a deeper tone than what's natural for them
Demi does not have bad vocals or interpretation. It's just that she has the ability to perform covers in her own style. Her first cover she does runs perfectly and second one, her voice was beautiful
tbh for Harry I’d choose maybe Chain by Mac Fleetwood or Ultralight beam by Kanye West… OH AND I FORGOT ABOUT THE MOST IMPORTANT!!! JUICE BY LIZZO OF COURSE! duh 🙄 and with the worst I agree… I knew what you’ll pick before you even said it XD that was just bizarre! Sounds like he didn’t rehearsed it ONCE! and that’s weird because Harry does really good covers!
For Demi’s cover of ‘ain’t no way’ I feel like she was more focused on trying to show off her vocal prowess vs actually showing off her ability to adapt musically and present her vocals in a different light.
Can you make a video about Faouzia? Knowing she's so underrated and a great vocalist, she deserves a review from a great channel like you. She has been serving hot vocals this 2022! 😊

I agree with you on Demi Lovato. Ain't No Way and I will always love you were a bit rough. Only singers I've seen nail Ain't no way with the ease is Ledisi, Patti Labelle, and Jennifer Hudson. Deborah Cox has a beautiful version of I will always love you.
Demi slays every cover they sing. Whitney is not an easy artist to cover, so Demi didn’t want to do anything over the top and simply sang it, not trying to make it their own. But they have the BEST covers in my opinion. Demi’s Aint No Way cover was when they were sick but I think they did a beautiful job. They also did a spotify session doing it in 2017. I personally think they did fine with I Will Always Love You. Yes, it wasn’t as emotional or powerful as we’d expect from them, but again, it’s a Whitney Houston song and it’s better to play it safe than risk a vocal crack or flat/pitchy note, especially at a wedding where you’re expected to sing a specific song. rather than a concert where you’re just singing a song for fun and because you like it. Demi can sing soft, they might’ve just been nervous bc it’s a Whitney Houston song and probably over-practiced.

@@kevineyk my favorite cover by her is Fade into You. She killed that in the Tiny Desk performance
@@jeromewilson1048 yes, fade into you is excellent
Little mix are the Masters of covers , obviously in X factor days is the best but they are sooo good especially there live lounge covers
Little mix takes covers to a whole new level
1 - Give Me Love by Demi will always be one of their best, it’s up there with Stay
2 - 7 Rings and The Story are my favourite covers by Kelly for sure
3 - That “yea yeah yea” part in I’ll be there was so bad it’s hilarious. Poor Jessie
4 - For me Good For You was a disaster of a cover but that’s my opinion, my fav cover by is man in the mirror she skated the hell out of that song
5 - Stormy Weather was a badass cover I’ll always believe that I don’t care that other people don’t like it
6 - I don’t listen to Harry so Idk what covers he has
7 - All of their X-Factors covers were a mess even when it was good, for Love On The Brain is their best cover cause it showcased their vocals perfectly
That give me love cover was just amazing
For Next week I think you should add Jennifer Hudson, her best being A Change Is gonna come, and her worst Titanium/Hallelujah (with Jessie J)
My favourite Harry cover and one of his bests is Girl Crush! Love it
Kelly is such a great singer 🥰🥰 I get the idea behind Harry’s cover but yeah way too low for him clearly
I have to say, I don’t even like Demi… very much at all frankly, but the first two highlighted ad-libs that they did were not only done by Aretha both in studio AND live, as well as in virtually every cover of the song. The high notes and extras done post climax on the other hand… I agree were very lacklustre and disappointing
Y’all are allowed to compliment/defend Demi without needing to say how much you don’t like them lol
@@dianereynolds2576 And it’s also my right to say what I like 🙃🙃🙃. Furthermore in comment sections on videos like these, you essentially HAVE to specify if you do or do not like someone or you’ll be accused of being biased and making excuses for someone.
That's true but I don't think it was his point tho...I don't think he meant those vocal moments don't exist in the original, I think he meant he didn't like the way Demi approached those moments as if Demi just wanted to show off and not actually sing and deliver
Harry's toxic cover is nightmare material like why couldn't he have just sang somewhere over the rainbow for the 2nd night too?
Even Jessie J worst performance is freaking awesome for me
Harry’s Styles juice cover deserves a shout out🙌🏽
Yess this. I became a Lizzo fan when Harry did that cover😂
@@joyedet1363 lmao yo same bro
How were Demi’s belts “show offy” if Aretha did them? I agree the Whitney one sounded off but the ain’t no way cover has always been one of my favorite covers by them despite the missed high note
yeah the ain’t no way ad libs sounded good, and shouldn’t that be the point of a cover to put your own spin on it💀
For part 2, I hope you include Sabrina Carpenter.
Idk if you have heard kelly "I know you won't" for me it's also up there as one of the best kelly covers
@@takemyhand1988 she performed this song live many times and it's an iconic cover so I hope he mentions it.
I actually enjoy a lot Demi's cover of Ain't no way 😭
Wait am I the only one who liked Demi’s ain’t no way
No I always rlly liked it
I loved it actually
In Xtinas defense, I believe she was singing Etta James rendition of stormy weather rather than Lena. If you hear that version you may appreciate xtinas cover a bit more lol
Could be, but it was actually supposed to a tribute to Lena, you can even see her on the backdrop behind Christina
Regardless of a Lena tribute she did the song in Ettas version was pure soulful
@@stevynsweeney6611 exactly! I really like her 'Stormy weather' cover. The rawness, soul, delivery, story telling, everything was fine to me. I'd say her worst cover might be 'I will always love you'.
@@aintnootherfan it is a tribute not a replica!!!! Lena does is jazzy, christina did sing the blues with this one
Demi has a cover of Ain’t No Way on Spotify and it’s is absolutely unbelievable please I beg go an listen, pitch is perfect, she hits every note and she seems focused and comfortable singing it
I'm not a Little Mix fan, though I do like a lot of their songs, but that X Factor performance you included... 😂
Jessie sounds the best in uptempos, I think.
Jessie J's YYEEE YEEAH YEAH at 7:33 in I'll be there kill me😂 its giving fergie national anthem! Plus the way she steps as she sings it is funny
Remember when demi Lovato was a singer
Sopranos like Demi should not sing I will always love you where the climax is a Bb4.
Correct because it takes a strong soprano like Whitney to project on Bb4
@@decholes95 you know Whitney was a mezzo right?
@@newreader1766 😒 she was a Soprano
@@lydob2471 mezzo soprano is diff
@@xmantrans4846 I know . All I'm stating is that she is a (spinto) soprano , not a mezzo like etta james ect
2:12 Rihanna when she worked as Demi background vocal singer
Fifth Harmony should be included! They had a lot of amazing covers
I love xtina's version of stormy weather
My favorite Xtina cover is I Love You Porgy
I would love if you put faouzia's covers they are amazing set fire to the rain / crazy / middle child / starboy /
I love Harry's Wild Thoughts Covers, I feel it's a very underrated cover.
Something sounded really off with Demi's cover of I Will Always Love You, I don't really know technical stuff but their voice sounded oddly deep, like they were trying to sing in a deeper tone than what's natural for them
that was when demi was smoking a lot of weed so it probably addected her voice like what happened to rihanna
Demi does not have bad vocals or interpretation. It's just that she has the ability to perform covers in her own style. Her first cover she does runs perfectly and second one, her voice was beautiful
they*
Stop ✋🏾 I'm a fan and I hated the Whitney cover
Because this Channel always be hatin’ on her.
that was an amazing reminder of how Demi's voice used to be resonant!
tbh for Harry I’d choose maybe Chain by Mac Fleetwood or Ultralight beam by Kanye West… OH AND I FORGOT ABOUT THE MOST IMPORTANT!!! JUICE BY LIZZO OF COURSE! duh 🙄 and with the worst I agree… I knew what you’ll pick before you even said it XD that was just bizarre! Sounds like he didn’t rehearsed it ONCE! and that’s weird because Harry does really good covers!
miley cyrus definitely should be in such video, good job, love your channel 🤍
She will be next week!
@@aintnootherfan yeeees!
For Demi’s cover of ‘ain’t no way’ I feel like she was more focused on trying to show off her vocal prowess vs actually showing off her ability to adapt musically and present her vocals in a different light.
I Will Always love you is orignally by Dolly Parton.
Whitney Houston just the most well known and beloved rerecording of the song.
Can you make a video about Faouzia?
Knowing she's so underrated and a great vocalist, she deserves a review from a great channel like you.
She has been serving hot vocals this 2022! 😊
We all know the only pop singer who can cover everything and make it better and make the cover go viral is Miley Cyrus🙌🏼Heart of glass, jolene, zombie, no tears left to cry, summer time sadness, lilac wine, don’t dream it’s over, and why you only call me when your high are only a few of her great covers 👌
i love Miley’s covers of Heart Of Glass, Jolene and Don’t Dream It’s Over ft. Ariana Grande
Miley kills her covers! Icon.
I give Harry props for Toxic because it was a Harryween Show setlist surprise cover so it probably wasn’t rehearsed much
Demi was a lot more tasteful back then I guess
Lmao, it’s not. You just stop listen to them and their music.😂
I think Jessie J's worst cover must be Party in the USA where she went offkey for like half of the song and I really don't understand what happened.
Her voice is too strong for that song. Plus she herself wrote that so maybe the song was supposed to be that way
@@shandyanshan8876 no I just think she couldn't hear herself properly and lost the key completely, plus it was very early in her career, where she was definitely not at her best vocally 😅
I must say, Christina covering At Last is really something else, such a great song for her to cover
that crack on the give me love cover is my favorite from demi
Jessie did an amazing job with Ain't Nobody, wonderfull performance that i wanna replay it for days
And really the I'll Be There is so over
I love this series. Could you react to Charice Pempengco’s vocals please? I find Charice’s voice very interesting.
Mariah Carey if only he knew/over the rainbow, and patti labelle somewhere over the rainbow are two of the best covers imo and the should be in part two
jessie j cvered whitney houston which is also realy good
Tbh i thought christina best cover would have been I Love You Porgy, but it's a man's world works too lol
Sorry but is there someone who dislikes Christina’s It’s a Man’s world cover? Really?? Cause that’s undeniably a masterpiece
Me
@@escapistwishmaster2273 I hope you’re happy
That I will always love you cover made me laugh.
Surprisingly LM’s cover of Falling by Harry is my least favorite of theirs. Thanks for the video!
I was wondering if you would look at some of Jazmine Sullivan, Keke Wyatt, and Kierra Clark Sheard runs.
Beyonce covering proud marry is amazing..she got a standing ovation from Tina
I loved Camila's good 4 u cover. More than the original. Totally my vibe.
I think Demi did quite good with Ain't No Way, it's not too bad (but yes it would be much better if Demi did the climax well)
Ooh I LOOOOVE Stormy Weather by Christina Aguilera...There are far worse covers of hers haha come on Karol! 😁
Gotta disagree on Demi’s aint no way. Live is a little weak, but the Spotify version is so good.
I agree with you on Demi Lovato. Ain't No Way and I will always love you were a bit rough. Only singers I've seen nail Ain't no way with the ease is Ledisi, Patti Labelle, and Jennifer Hudson. Deborah Cox has a beautiful version of I will always love you.
nice video!
Best cover of Harry gotta go to Girl crush for me😂
Juice and wet dreams tooo!
But most comments are ultra something so I'll check that
Rita Oras cover of respect by Aretha Franklin is definately up there 😌❤️
I really get into Jessie j or jojo 🥴🤷🏾♂️
