L'anglais est LOVING A Photographic History Of Men in Love"
You are broadening the horizons of the world with your "Loving" collection! Keep searching, keep finding, keep showing people everywhere that this belongs in the mainstream of life and I do hope this collection ends up in a respectable museum for everyone to see. I respect you both with all my heart and soul. ♥️
Bravo and much love to you both, guys. You have accomplished a really great job in collecting and preserving all these pictures.... putting them together in a book shows the care you are also taking in making these photographs available to the public at large! With much TLC to you both all the way from France.
Thank you for your work. What an extraordinary story. I think of these two men at Dachau, deeply in love and soon to exchange rings, but there as liberators who were about to lose their own freedom to love. Meanwhile, gay prisoners at the camp were not liberated but only moved to other German prisons to serve out their sentences. West Germany retained the modified 'Paragraph 175' of the Nazi-era law code, with all its penal provisions intact, till 1994 - in which year there were 44 convictions. The impact of that chain of violence isn't ended yet.

You both are to the Gay Community as what air is to breathing! Safeguarding our past is vital. What you are literally doing is preventing the CANCEL CULTURE from destroying our history. Thanks for doing this for our current generation as well as future generations. Seeing these photos, that were taking so long ago, really does fill our hearts with the knowledge that we are not along and NEVER WERE ALONE when we thought that we were. From the bottom of my heart, Thank you both so much. By the way, my husband and I just celebrated 30 years together as well. We live our lives FOR US. We don't hide who we are to help the negative nellies to "feel better". NOT GONNA HAPPEN!
Thank you so much for taking the time to write this beautiful note. We appreciated the support. And yes, no one should hide. We should all celebrate every moment of the live we live. Never let anyone CANCEL CULTURE. Cancel our history, any history. Cheers to 30 years of loving memories created together and too many many more to come!

Hi Neal & Hugh, fantastic, heart melting, sensual fotos you have collected about a period of time when homosexuality was forbidden and these wonderful guys showed publicly their love. Wonderful! As a 57 years old German, thank god, i grew up with my also wonderful, open minded grandparents. Coming out was no problem at home, my friends and my lover could visit my granny. My friend(s) were my grannys friends. I will be in NYC at the end of november this year. Is there any choice seeing these fotos in a gallery, museum, or anywhere else? I wish both of you and all loving gay men in the world everytime all the best. Warmest greetings from Germany. Carsten

@@loving.aphotograpichistory6240 Good evening from Germany to both of you. Thanks for the information about the exhibition in Switzerland. But i need to save my little money for my pre-christmas wonderland dream trip to NYC. I guess i watched too often "Kevin alone at home" But for me, my life motto is: dream your dream and live your dream. Do not say, i will do it later. Maybe there will be no later. @@loving.aphotograpichistory6240 Hi to both of you. I have certain images in my head when i think about NYC during the christmas time. Maybe i am wrong, maybe i will be disappointed, but want to celebrate on 29th nov. the grand christmas tree lighting in front of the Rockefeller building, walking through the central park, seeing the ice skating rink, the incredible christmas decoration in the windows of Macy's, Time square, Broadway,... maybe i will be disappointed but this could be my last far overseas trip of my life. I love all those vintage photos of love.
What we see on those photos, dignity, beauty and the innocence that is missing today and two human beings loving each other without insulting anybody.
