Wanted to send a pic of mine...couldn't figure out how. 4 screws in the side plate,1 in the front. MADE IN U.S.A MARCAS REGISTRADAS SMITH&WESSON SPRINGFIELD,MASS. these markings are in the right side, in front of the plate. 5"barrel. I've been told 1909...1905....1897...no markings on the left face of the frame. Any guesses?
Post this and smith and wesson forums make and account and post pictures of your revolver there is alot of gun enthusiasts that will tell you history on everything u need to know
@@guaporeturns9472 no Brother, I packed it back in its "special place'' and haven't thought about it since. It's LAWNMOWER SEASON and I'm the only one in my town that repairs them. I'll find out some day
My oldest S&W is a model of 1902 it has 4 screws no trigger guard screw. The 5th screw was added in 1905.
