you'd think he's just another quirky old gnome, but then shows you he's cunning. you'd think you could easily beat him in a fight, but then he's a werewolf. You wouldnt take his art seriously but then he shows you 400+ years of craftmanship. I love that Chetney Pock O'Pea is the David Bowie of woodcraft in Exandria and im here for it!
1.) [4:36] *_"It reveals, that which is most preci-" "Precious. Yeah."_** --* On one hand, it is a testament to Matt Mercer's long friendship with Travis Willingham (Chetney Pock O'Pea) and the CR-cast, coupled with Mercer's panther-pouncing reflexes to be able finish Travis' (if not the rest of CR-cast as well) sentence(s). *;)* 2.) [4:55] *_"I'm so happy."_** --* On the other hand, it is also hilarious when Matt cracks himself up to the point of blushing-red laughter, as much as the CR-cast. *;D* Thanks for uploading this, *Sadknight.* :)
I was grinning ear to ear at the end of this episode. So hilarious that Matt added the super fan to this campaign. He reminds me of the fan boy in the Elder Scrolls Oblivion game. He only appears when you finish the entire Gladiator quest.
Think it's Nana's deal but need to look back because iirc he wanted to be remembered for his toys and a lot of the stuff there is some toys but mostly furniture and knick knacks.
curious what matt's reason for this character was. seems way too involved for a throwaway npc. i bet he'll have some bigger (you might say critical) role later

Travis is definitely gonna get THAT roll for Chetney and have him die in the proto-museum dedicated to his work.
With the storytelling nature of Travis' rolls, i wouldn't even be surprised.
And then Chetney dies in his sleep with a smile on his face
I love that between this and our favourite moron (affectionate), the last 2 episodes have had a lot of gifts specifically for Travis!
17 chairs, hopefully one of them didn’t come the killer collection
Huzzah,, killer collection !
Anyone ready for Pop-Con!?
Well given where they are now, they've got the perfect Convention Planner to plan it in Jester.

Okay the idea of Chetney dying that night is funny but the thought of him losing control and wolfing out and wrecking everything is hilarious.
I’m deeply praying he gets an apprentice to pass his knowledge on and maybe even gain a Solstice Relic from it
4:37 Matt turning red from trying to stay in character after finishing Chet's sentence had my ribs hurting.
I have to see this get animated. 🤣
Seconded
I demand this be animated with Pure Imagination playing in the back ground
I would also accept a sound-alike, if they absolutely can't get the rights to it,
One of the funniest moments from Critical Role. I've never seen the cast had so much fun like they had this episode in campaign 3.
OMG they're in Cracker Barrel .

I tried watching this episode at school, right before class, and this had me dying 🤣
Matt made the fan they all fear meeting at a Con.
About 10 minutes in Laura starts looking between Travis and Matt.
I loved this episode! I couldn't quit laughing 😂
best bit in awhile. loved every bit
Huzzah,, much needed.
Probably my favorite episode in all of CR
Is this exandria's first otaku?
Was this part of Nana Mori’s deal or is this all Churney?
Think it's Nana's deal but need to look back because iirc he wanted to be remembered for his toys and a lot of the stuff there is some toys but mostly furniture and knick knacks.
Is this Nana Mori's doing?
Chetney is the best character and Travis is hilarious!
