I’m behind on the campaign, but I just watched this episode today. It really got me when Matt asked FCG how he wanted to do this, because while I may be wrong, the way he asked it didn’t seem like she had actually hit 0 HP. It sounded like he was just giving him the kill. It was a beautiful choice on his part to nurture the moment and send FCG off with the love and respect he deserved. The damage roll felt like a formality, which was completely fine. What an incredibly powerful moment in Critical Role history

What a tough job for the Dungeon Master to continue this moments after specifically Sam's character, and is it me...but the music as Matt is describing the aftermath just hit...at the right time and even until the end of the videi. After hearing of Sam's story, and researching it all and matching it with the time line. This was such a wonderful love letter to his character, and such a heartbreaking moment for him IRL and the rest of the cast IRL. I know he has won his battle, and he is recovering and Sam is thriving again after successful surgery and work to get his voice back but... But I cannot imagine the moments in this video, what they were all thinking, what they were all *fearing* and the *anxiety* of what Sam was going to go through.

I'll say this : Of all the guests who have been on the show since season 1, the chemistry of the cast with Robbie is second to none. He fits critical role like a glove. I never think of him as a guest. It feels right with him there.

The whole context of this shifted so much when Sam announced he'd been fighting cancer in real life at the time of FCG's death. "I'm alive because they made me alive." This isn't just FCG proclaiming how much Bells Hells means to him. This is Sam Riegel telling his friends that he loves them and that even if he doesn't make it, with them, he truly lived.

Here's the solution: cast "Fly" on FCG and have them move upwards at maximum speed. At 60 ft/round and a duration of 10 minutes, that takes the robot up 6000 feet. Once elapsed, re-cast and repeat. After doing this 6 times, they will be at 36.000 feet and be able to see the curvature of the planet. If still indiscernible, keep going upwards. Certainly, at 60.000 feet, they will be able to see that Exandria is a sphere. Then let fall and just cast "Feather Fall" before impact with the ground. ... If they're still not convinced... just don't cast "Feather Fall".

Sometimes I listen to these clips without watching them and when Sam does his Braius voice I frown and look over to see who is speaking. Dude's voice magically develops this resonant bass out of nowhere!
