- The Roman Jeweler of Time is home to many wonderful creations, but, due to the success and milestone records broken within the collection, much of the Bulgari conversation these days revolves around the Octo Finissimo. This year, Bulgari decided they were not having that. It was time to give the OG Octo Roma its due with a refined makeover inside and out. And thus, the new Octo Roma and Octo Roma Chronograph were born. The Octo Roma, in a way, represents the entry and peak within Bulgari's expansive catalogue. We have seen many skeletons, tourbillons, and papillons make their debut, but that is at the higher end. The new Octo Roma collection gives a refresh to the entry point. Intrigued by the new proposition, Andrew visited Bulgari’s Product Creation Executive Director Fabrizio Buonamassa Stigliani to get a hands-on look at the new Octo Roma collection and find out everything that was truly new with the releases.

The Octo Roma chronograph is really gorgeous. The sunray on the subdials is captivating. BUT, you really must see it in person, because it is thicker than the three-handed model, and the effect is a pinched dial, where the bezel and case surrounds and overwhelms.
I am not a Bullgari guy but I can't wait to try this one.
I can say the roma is now finally moving to a right direction from this release. The chrono button design is top class!
Nice. It would be great to see Bvulgari take the Roma to a more “dressier”, less sporty place.. something like a Moon phase with pointer date for example, would look amazing!! Just a thought 💭 👍🏻
If only there would be a Bvlgari Finissimo 🤔
It did started out as a dress watch. I guess it didn't do too well, so they made it more sportier to make it more appealing.
It depresses me that the watch is so expensive (rightfully so). I need one!!!!
Andrew, bring back the Viking beard
Lose the damn AET badge
It’s a nice watch but a bit samey to so many offerings out there.
Sorry just my thoughts
FBS is a genius. The Zaha Hadid of watch designers. With the Octo I suspect he was let down a bit by the constraints of the LVMH movement house, but he still pulled off a masterpiece. Andrew was right to gently point out the thickness of the otherwise sublime chrono. Great content! ❤
Wow this guy basically fused all of genta designs into one! Namely royal oak and nautilus. 😂
Ooh... Now I like that and it is better, or rather I prefer it to the Fanissimo.
Fabrizio is class personified. And the new Roma is a total stunner!
Stunning watch!
masterpiece but why no beveled edge on bracelet?
Am I the only one who doesn't like bracelet/strap systems that are unique to a watch?
Beauty 😊
this is a really fine watch
ك
What is the l2l then?
Wish i got one of these new ones instead of the old octo roma. Any idea if the new bracelet might somehow be able to fit the old model? 😅
It's a new propriety quick-change system. They're not compatible with the previous generation.
Whats with the cheap movement ??
