Oh that would drive me INSANE

Imagine going back to earth and having a speech about your journey, you let go of the microphone and it FALLS. I imagine astrononauts drop many things when they get back home
Yeah most do when they are in space for long periods of time. Its actually really funny
Imagine he tries to float his $30000 gaming setup

Chris Hadfield, what a fucking legend !
My favorite thing in these videos is watching him almost unconsciously grabbing and readjusting or capturing wandering things in mid air. He's like a parent in a shopping mall wrangling 4-year old triplets!
how do you.......... pee in space
Jon Innis they used tubes to pee

Imagine the gas particles stuck in a bubble-
He's previously mentioned that smells in space has nowhere to go so they stick around forever so there has to be some system for farts :D

What happens if one of those smaller drops of water enters one of the various laptops on board?
Thomas Jennings I'm pretty sure the water is distilled, so it does not have any of the metals in it that water has on earth. Distilled water is perfectly safe for electronics because if there are no metals in it, it can't conduct electricity
@@michaelgoldberg8325 Distilled water is not very drinkable though, if you drink a certain amount of it it will pull all of the nutrients out of your system, and if you drink enough it can kill you.
@@adampustos1155 Naval sailors have been drinking distilled water for years without any ill effects. Furthermore, they still get their source of nutrients from food, so unless you starve yourself there won't be much of a deficiency
adampustos that’s a myth
adampustos the only harms of distilled water is the lack of nutrients so I Guess you could have an electrolyte imbalance. The myth is due to the fact that people think the mineral salts in your body will be attracted toward the water through osmosis . However, it’s the opposite. Osmosis occurs when the water potential is different, and then the water from the region of higher water potential( eg distilled water) will move to the region of lower water potential(place with mineral salts) so you wont die at all
When I heard "nasty fluid" I started wondering what a money shot would look like in space :)

Another great video,Nice to know everyone got back to earth safe.Chris is an inspiration to us all.
Chris, if the Nasa calls and they wan't you to house a person called Homer S., make sure that the ant farm and the potato chips are locked away. Make also shure that the television reception is good and the beer store is filled.

I was looking for this comment lol
2:33 he was ready for 2020 the whole time
It has occurred to me that absolutely every situation has to be thoroughly thought through, even the simplest details could have some sort of major impact in space, nothing is a given, that must be quite exhausting.
Literally the only person who cn make anything sound exciting or cool
what about garbage? how do you get rid of that?
This is the only astronaut that makes me want to go to space...

I like how the mic just flows and he always reposition it

How do u go to dehydrate or clean ur stomach in space
At first I thought the title said pills, and I was like : Chris not in space!
diarheea would require food poisoning or some kind of bacteria, which is probably very very unlikely i would think
Well, IBS is a thing and you never know when it’s going to hit you. Granted, I’ve probably had it all of or at least most of my life, but it’s only just quite recently that certain foods have set it off. An astronaut may not have issues with anything on Earth, but you probably wouldn’t know until you’re up there in space, how your body would react to the microgravity
Rey Of Light The health requirements for this are fairly well regulated too.
How do u take a pee wouldn’t it just float everywhere
Greetings from the future! Its year 2020 and we are wearing this suit for now on.

i wonder how they go to the toliet? does it just float 0_0

He used a rag to clean water.

Another question would be.., why did the original water filled rag try to fall to the ground but the mic didnt?
