Hi, glad you raised the issue with monkeys being used in some coconut products. I wrote to some companies asking them if they could trace back & confirm to me that monkeys were not used.. most replied saying they weren’t. I wish there was a symbol to reassure me as coconut is in soooo many vegan products…. We can’t assume anything.. appreciate some people aren’t strict vegans but I try to be but it can be hard! 😊

I have a large family and almost always do a roast on a Sunday. I always make the table look nice and enjoy setting it out with flowers and candles etc. It’s such a simple thing but I really enjoy it as through the week its more sort of eat on the go kinda thing but Sundays its nice to take that extra time to do it. My 6 year old likes to make name cards too as her little hobby.
That looks so delicious your Easter dinner. By the way. Your blue sweater also looks great on you . I like these long videos. They are so relaxing.

I do the loo thing too - idk why either 😂 I think it's because I dont like being interrupted when I'm in the flow of things
the loose bumps at the bottom when braiding your hair come from directing your hair in a different direction than the braid will lay. so if you you hold it kinda up while braiding, there'll be loose bits when you're done. happens so easily when you do it yourself. you can try braiding a bit tighter and closer to your head when you get to the bottom but i know it's hard and almost a workout in itself haha

i started buying nutritional yeast from grape tree. they sell it in paper pouches and it's cheaper than marigold 😊 they also do nuts and seeds and spices in bulk, it's great

It sounds like you're entering a state of hyperfocus! It can be super productive (especially when you're fully in control of your schedule and environment), but you do need to be careful if it's something that happens routinely. Holding your pee for hours at a time can actually damage your pelvic floor, especially in people with an internal reproductive system (I.e. uterus) because we’re already predisposed to pelvic floor issues. Hyperfocus management strategies might be something to talk to a doctor/therapist about, or even just something you can do your own research on, but that's entirely up to your discretion and comfort level.

The loose braid is 💯 because of the angle/ because you’re doing your own. When it gets to that length you are braiding up and away instead of down (because you literally can’t) and that’s why that happens. But it looks pretty, I wouldn’t stress. 👍😊
I also forget about going to the loo our eating when I’m in my adhd hyper focus 😌 (sadly my hyper focus most often happen doing hobbies and not work tasks🥲)

I use the garden of life unflavored and I love it for smoothies, its great because it doesn't have stevia which I find gives protein powders a bad processed flavor.
Sunflower seeds are a great budget-friendly and more ethical cashew alternative 👌

I love your vlogs. I like the longer vlogs but sometimes dont have time to watch in one go. Think your nails are a coral red. It scares me when u vlog in the car. Makes me quite anxious especially when you only have one hand on the wheel. You look so glam with those sunglasses on. Love your makeup and outfits in this vlog. Where do you order the big bag of nutritional yeast and does it have vitamin b12? Id be interested to try to compare it to the one i am using right now. Its from a brand called granovita and it has B12 added, which makes it ultra tasty and cheesy for some reason😂

I think cauliflower cheese as well is to do I cook my whole cauliflower in a bit of water in the microwave that’s cooking as I make my tea sauce, house or milk to my cheese sauce and vegan cheese and bacon butty beautifully have even given it to family members that vegan and I like it toX

I don’t think he was attacking you, hoping he was just trying to mention that deficiencies of various vitamins can cause darkening of the skin, dark circles under eyes. A lot of vegans don’t do it as thoughtfully as you, but could be something to check with your GP. Everyone should do that anyway, regardless of your diet, any one of us could be missing certain nutrients from our diets.
But he was. The video was very rude! And the point I’m making is that I’ve had dark under eyes since I was a child - it’s genetic. Just like having a big nose, being tall. Assuming someone has deficiencies based on their appearance is extremely problematic.
Everyone is picking on vegans deficiencies in vitamins or protein. But really vegans care what they eat and I don't know any vegans with deficiencies. Does omnivores check the vitamins and the amount of protein that they eating?! No ! They mostly eating shit process food with no nutrition value. Message for them - mind their own business for f..k sake.

I really enjoy your video blogs, but much prefer when you are working on projects and cooking at home. Please reconsider your practice of vlogging and chatting into the camera while driving. Is it too distracting and unsafe. I say this from a place of concern and care for you. You are a role model with a huge community of fans who would be very sad if you were to have a crash while driving and vlogging. It only takes a second for things to go terribly wrong. xo
Someone mentioned ADHD. Way too many diagnosis are bandied about. Some people just get intensely focused on a task at hand, others get over stimulated in crowds. No need to put a name to it---it is just that we are human and approach & handle things differently. Maybe a bit less navel gazing and more concern for others, and helping others. Madeline is wonderful at that, she does seem to care. A very well grounded individual.
Your thoughts about not wanting to leave work ie editing etc to eat/loo etc sounds very like an ADHD/neurodivergent situation, as hyper focus. Is that something you’ve explored Maddie? ❤
