Airbus 320 is NOT certified under CATIIIC approaches)) Only CAT3b. You HAVE to know this.

That is not true tho? The airbus family can do cat3c, it simply isn't legal yet to do so at least in europe

@@IceHax Check the Airbus TCDS. It hasn't technical ability to perform CAT3C landing.

Your document never said that the airbus is only qualified for catiiib ,but it is certified for catiiib per design basic definition... you dont know the aircraft in the video so you have absolutely no clue about its certification. Of course ,some a320s are able to perform cat3c approaches... it depends on the airplane.

@@Hk-uw8my I KNOW the airplane in the video, cuz for maintenance engineer it is good enough to see just a little piece of flight deck to recognize the airplane type)) And it is A320 fam. And AWOPS is not only about airplane configuration, but also about airport and flight crew qualification. There is no CAT3c certified airport at the moment and, logically, there is no need to certify flight crew for this kind of approach. So the CAT 3c approach is operationally impossible these days.

@@b2instructor166" no airport are rated for cat3c"....do you know what is a cat 3c at least? Cat3c means Rvr less than 75m. The aircraft only needs to land and stop on the runway,it only needs the flare and rollout capabilities.i dont know where did you find that no airport is equipped for cat 3c..
You didnt understand what I meant by you dont know the plane, you were able to tell the aircraft model, just like everyone, but here is a thing you should know ,not all airplanes of the same model/version are the same.
It's not because you have seen somewhere in the internet that a model of airplane is able to do something,so all existing planes do. Each plane is configured according to customers wishes.
Let's take an example with the 737. You can surely read somewhere that it is able to autoland, but in reality, most planes dont have the rollout ability, because there is no rudder channel. They are technically not able to perform cat3c/b approaches, and some planes aren't even certified for autoland. In this case, Cat3 approaches are manually flown using a heads up display.
That's why i said you cant tell if this plane is certified for something ,as not every plane has the same certifications, options, and configurations... if you dont know the plane personally you dont know how it is configured, so you cant speak about its certifications/options...
