I so enjoyed your nifty paper bag journal video. It was clear and precise; and as you said, "Fast & Easy". Thank you for taking the time to share with some of us beginners. I have a Floral and Interior Design background and it is fun to add to the "knowledge" to all the creative things I have done over the years past. I recently gave a "mini book" I made to a long time friend. She showed it to a friend of hers, The friend said, " I want to learn how to do this project"! I referred them to your video. You have touched three peoples lives with your talent. Thank you again.....Kay from Surprise, Az.
Ok, First let me just say that I absolutely love your teaching style and your accent. 🤫 I just heard about these paper bag albums and can't wait to make this. Thanks so much for this fabulous tutorial series. Buying my bags and chipboard tomorrow! 🤞 Wish me good luck!
I LOVE your mini album tutorials! I've made so many of these as gifts and people love getting them. thanks for your great how-to's!!! Love your channel!
This is a great and easy tutorial to follow. I just finished lining my Chipboard and am about to glue it all together. I used the lunch bags from Michael's $1.50 bin and adjusted my measurements for the size of the bags. I'm also thinking of gluing the bottom inside part of the bags closed so I can make the mats that you insert shorter and keep them from sliding all the way down in the bag (which would drive me nuts). I think just a couple of finger dabs of glue on the inside at the gusset should do the trick. The bags in the bin have a printed image on them, so you can just mat them before you glue them together. It's the only adjustment I had to make, but the bags are so much cheaper than the other ones (you get I think 6 to a bag for 1.50) and they are a much better weight than the package of bags that you get from the grocery store. I'm definitely going to be stocking up on them, as this IS a very easy tutorial to follow. I've been paper crafting for years and I just started making mini books. I own a store so I used OLD USPS shipping boxes from orders I get in as chipboard and I save every envelope I get that's made from Tyvek Thanks so much for sharing!
Love this mini album ! I really would love to see you decorate it all up ! It really is fast ! I have been wanting to make a paper bag mini album for a while now and have not done so cause of how long they take. I am so going to make this version this week. Thank you so much for the inspiration ! TFS ~Jackie~
Hello Maymay, thank you for sharing these instructions! I have been looking and looking for a long time to find instructions to make a mini album that I could understand and actually complete! I'm so happy! I'm in a Christmas exchange with 11 women and this will be perfect!🤗😘
Hello Maymay. I'm relatively new to your channel. I watched a couple of your videos then lost you in the maze of album crafters. I love this easy way to make an album. It's awesome. I'd like to see it decorated
I want to see you deck it out!!!!! this is so awesome because I've been saving little pharmacy paper bags, and I was just wondering how the heck I could bind them. Amazing your video appeared right before my eyes!!!!!😃😃😃😃
First of all, I love your videos!! You are AWESOME!! So talented. On this video you explain everything so wonderful. You have so many techniques that I have not seen before. I am hooked on Maymay! Keep on the fantasic work and I will definately keep watching. Thank you for sharing your talent!
Hey Amy, I know this video is a few months old... But I have made a few albums and did not have the mailing envelopes available for my binding... So I used zip lock bags! They worked well with my scor- tape (or red tape). I have not experienced any problems. Just sharing-- love your techniques! Still watching-and learning! Thanks!
Dog food bags work great in place of the fed ex stuff, but I use glossy accents to glue it. I started using this as hinges on fairy houses because it will be water proof
i like how "kraft" has unofficially become a color to us crafters hahah . what should we paint our living room? um i dunno a nice light shade of kraft.
I'm new to your page and I'm enjoying you and your crafty work. I noticed you referred to the FedEx envelope material as Keflex. What you mean to say is Tyvek. And that IS awesome material for paper crafting; good grab!
Thank you for this video. I have found something cute I can make my granddaughters for Christmas that won't take me a month to finish. I've had a few hurdles the last couple years and I seem to get farther behind. I like your tutorial, easy to follow, most of all I love your made for tv voice. Really! Happy Fall and thanks to you again.!! I've been watching your videos all weekend long!
Nice love it great job you can use a rolling pin to help with bumps with the wet glue and zip dry doesn't leave bumps and it's a wet glue. I will try your way next mini big hugs Jessie
Oh my goodness MayMay You are incredible!!!! And loads of FUN!!!
