I am back on the Las Vegas Strip for another resort review and this time we are staying at Part MGM Resort in the heart of the Las Vegas strip. I had low expectations after our gross stay at MGM Grand last summer and hoped this hotel would redeem MGM as a property owner.
I love doing these resort reviews to help you make better decisions where to spend your hard-earned money. While I'm not a fan of the red room coloring in this hotel (or any hotel, tbh) I think that's a nitpicking preference versus a "con." I'm going to see if I can request a green room next time we visit.
We absolutely loved dining at Best Friend by Roy Choi, as well as roaming and dining around all the venues in Eataly. Park MGM's casino floor is bright and modern, giving an upscale vibe without being stuffy. Speaking of stuffy, the non-smoking atmosphere was a welcomed literal breath of fresh air from the typical casinos who allow smoking. That said, I feel most casinos on the Las Vegas strip and downtown are doing a very good job at filtering systems that cut down on lingering smoke inside their resorts,

Personally, I felt MGM Grand was overpriced and too big for it's britches, underdelivering on both service and cleanliness for the price. If I had a choice, I'd skip MGM Grand and stay at Park MGM any day!

Thank you for this video! I have not stayed at this property since it was the Monte Carlo, which was always a favorite of ours. ❤️ Very fun to see the renovations and new spaces. Based on your recommendation, I cannot wait to return.
I hope you have a wonderful trip. We really enjoyed our stay and would visit again. It felt like a boutique hotel while having a lot to do, see, and eat. Next time, I'm going to request a green room though. The red was fine but wasn't my taste lol

Great review thanks, I'm from the UK and my wife and I are hoping to return to vegas we had a great time, we stayed there years ago when it was the monte Carlo, the hotel has cirtainly been updated and looks a great option.

I really appreciate your video, my wife and I stayed at Park MGM in November and loved it. One of my favorite properties for sure. We also love the smoke free aspect. We ate at LaLa Noodle and liked it, I highly recommend Nomad Library , we ate there on my birthday and it did not disappoint. Fantastic food and experience. 👍👍 I will be subscribing to your channel.

I totally agree with your positive review of Crack Shack. Next door to Park MGM. Fabulous chicken and chicken sandwiches. They have this fabulous brand of fountain pop called Surly with many uniqe flavors. Fast and friendly service. I go there several times on all my trips to Vegas. Thanks for your review. Any tips on how to get a mini fridge for the room and not pay $35 US/night for it. Is the most budget friendly foods for bkst Eately for to go panini/pizza (what was approx. cost for those).
Staying at ParkMGM next week and really looking forward to it. It's low season right now and Park MGM is about 60 while MGM is about 50 before fees and taxes. Must have been some big convention across LVB.
I could stay my entire trip on that corner with NYNY right next door. So many cheap or at least reasonable restaurants plus easy access to all their properties via free tram.

@@gotravelwithstaci It was, not only that, me and my dad were pretty close, we weren't close to the point were we can touch the stage but we were close enough to see him right in our faces, that also made it a night that will never be forgotten.

I hope you have the best time! Wherever you plan to stay and spend money, get a players card (it's free) and use it when you buy anything. We don't gamble much and still manage to get free stays and free credit to play.
I was in vegas this weekend and I love that it's smoke free on the floor. It's honestly part of the reason I'll probably book a room here in December when I come back.
The Tran was also good. It’s the train that brings u to the balagio and crystals shopping center

Eataly. They have many stalls and lots offer truffle options from pasta to sandwiches.
I love Las Vegas! The only thing I hate about it is the ride because I get car sick a lot 😂

@@gotravelwithstaci We are new at going. We have stayed at Bellagio and like it ( more expensive and more people). We stayed at Luxor and it was a one and done ( only because of all the walking to get around). Y'all should do the Row in Reno and spend a few days driving around Lake Tahoe!
I walked through Park MGM two years ago and I did not know it was smoke free. I remember thinking , Wow, this is great, no disgusting smoke smell!, only to find out it was the official policy.

The Tropicana could look like that; it's currently around the standard of the old Monte Carlo. I can't believe they're thinking about pulling it down, to create what's likely to be another half finished eye sore ... that will drag down the other businesses.
Yes it would be wonderful if they would instead give it the deep renovation it needs. Restore it to its original glory and let us travelers step back in time as if it were just built. Instead, they just build new things that sparkle but lack history and charm.
