I work from my computer so to me and many others it is worth it. These laptops last forever and Eddie comment was saying good job for saving rather then putting it on a credit card...
Martin Sauer also if I dumped all my savings into this then YES that would be immature but I definitely did not pull from my savings at all. I had been setting money aside from each paycheck. ALSO I am a home owner so I think I’m a little more responsible then what your giving credit for.

I'm planning to get the baseline MacBook pro 13 inch now but as far as I have researched, people tell me to wait for 2020 version in which the keyboard problem, touch bar problem and think bezels would be fixed... Can I believe them and wait? Even if I wait, will I get the New MacBook for the same price as that of the current baseline? (1199$) Also around what time would that MacBook gets launched?
It will take a 3-4 more months for sure due to the COvid-19......so I think if u can wait for that long then go for the 2020 one or go for the 2019 one.....

got my macbook pro in september and i love it but the problem is that when i edit my fans start to act crazy and the computer overheats quickly and before my edit has finished rendering the app shut downs. idk what it is but that’s the main issue with my laptop at the moment. my friend has the same issue so i’m really confused
that happened to me too but i dont even edit anything. just basic stuff. but cpu usage sky rockets for no reason. so i sold it to buy the macbook 16 which is a HUGE difference in thermal throttling.
When clicking the trackpad, do you hear a distinct sound? Idk if it me or if it’s suppose to be that way? Please let me know if you hear the same as well

@Anonymous Rascal It comes down to what you use it for. Linux is great if you're a programmer or if you want a safe, long lasting OS. However for content creation like UA-cam its not the best since it lacks some software. But just saying it sucks is not appropriate. In fact every OS has pros and cons.

Nope! All is quick and speedy!! Now if I edit for 3+ hours it gets hot but all still works perfect! 😁

I would definetely wait and if the 2020 model is more expensive you could still get the 2019 model :)

The new one came out a few days ago! And it’s highly cheap for a MacBook, it’s 999$ and it has 256GB. If you’re a student then it’ll be 899$.

paige sechler i use adobe after effects. i don’t usually leave anything running in the background so i am not sure what causes the issue :(
