Why is it so cheap for the developers to spend so much on a mansion, yet they can't afford to board up the shower area with a cubicle?

Yes, so true. for that asking price, they should have put in shower doors.

Thanks. Otherwise, it looks substandard or mediocre. Who wants to spend that much, only start spending more on getting the bathroom right after moving in?

I begin to think taking regular showers 🚿 is not necessary in those developers eyes, all the houses I’ve seen their bathroom has a major fault, they’ll make the living room huge like a football field and make the bathrooms a little box, no cubicle, always right by the toilet bowl, for this I’m on the fence about buying a already built house over there, I’ll have to show them how it’s done…

Welcome to some parts of Africa where substandard way of building is the norm here. Where did they learn to build this way? It's actually worse here in Nigeria because the homes are pretty much mostly structurally deficient, complemented with numerous workmanship errors, hidden under cosmetics.
Unfortunately, I did notice similar workmanship errors in a home that I stayed in Kigali as well but not structural deficiencies. Can any Building Engineer explain to me how it makes sense to place the water closet right under the shower, how much more fail to enclose the shower area in a cubicle?

Yes, building your own home and supervising the so called Building Engineer is the way to go in some parts of Africa. Otherwise, you'll be in for a big surprise when the house is delivered, particularly here in Nigeria where most of the buildings are structurally deficient with uncountable workmanship errors.
