Great review! I ordered a black goatskin in December because these were sold out, and a few hours after I ordered it, the horween came back in stock so I cancelled my first order and picked up for the horween for 50% off. For $165, I’ll never own a bible as nice. It’s been my daily reader as well. I inserted a 5 ribbon marker down the spine and have 9 ribbons for the grant horner reading plan.

That is amazing!!! Way to go! I ordered mine from Crossway mid-December 21 just after the release with a discount and have been using it since January 2nd. I own the two other Omegas you see in this video (which I use occasionally and love) but keep coming back to the Heritage for the way it feels, the way the text layout reads, and for the size. Just love this Bible so much!!

The ESV Heirloom Heritage in Horween leather is such a beautiful Bible! I wish I could have purchased it. Sadly it looks like it's still out of print, at least according to Crossway's website. However, Crossway has the ESV Heirloom Heritage in black goatskin on backorder, and Crossway has the ESV Heirloom Heritage in Wellington leather on pre-order. I'll probably try to purchase one of these two ESV Heirloom Heritage editions instead. By any chance do you know what the difference between Horween leather and Wellington leather is? (Well, it's either the ESV Heirloom Heritage or the Schuyler Treveris ESV. The Treveris also looks gorgeous! I'm just looking for a premium ESV Bible that I can primarily use for reading and these two seem the best to me.)

Excellent run-down and helpful. I'm late to the party (it's August 2023) and it seems there are none to be found at this point. I wonder why Crossway stopped making them or if it will be back at some point later on. But, for now, they're pretty elusive.

Crossway has a line coming out later in the Fall of 23 in Wellington Leather that is supposed to be very close to the Horween. So I would go on their publisher website and track when that is releasing and do your research to see if you want to pick one up. They also are restocking the black Goatskin ones I believe as well.
