Top 50 Songs Most Successful in Semi-Finals (2004-2021) / Eurovision

- It's a list made up of 50 #Eurovision songs most successful in their semi-finals according to a percentage of maximum possible points (that is 12 points from everyone else). That is done to see how well songs performed in their semis.
The video includes songs which competed in semi-finals from 2004 to 2021. Therefore, automatic qualifiers are not in the list.
In case of a tie, the songs' placements are the tie-breaker.

Video idea: entries with biggest increase from semifinals
(example) the entry gets 7th place in semifinals (more likely to get 14th in finals) and gets to 8th in finals
like Denmark 2019 finishing 10th in Semi 2 (with 1 point ahead of 11th) and finishing 12th in the final?
Norway 2019, 7th in Semi 2 to 6th in final

Where are Luminița Anghel and Sistem from 2005 for Romania with Let me try? That song won the semifinal in 2005. It finished 3rd in the final.

Nope. The maximum score a country could get in Semi1 was indeed 432. (16 participating countries plus 3 of the pre-qualifiers minus the country it self makes 12×2×18=432)

I think the reason has to do with cultural differences. Portugal gained most votes by west-europe, but not as much in the balkan and east europe. If you are from the balkan or eastern-europe, you are completing my theory
If there is 2022 version, surely hold me closer will be include in top 5, also the fact by according in 2016 voting system, heroes and beautiful mess will tie in the first place with most points in semi having both 403 points

Well, that song was already outside the top 50, but the last time this channel uploaded this ranking (which is 2018), that song was in 45, but expecting next ranking for this, all of semi winners of 2018 edition will be out of top 50.
Sweden and Ukraine this year would be on top.

Who calculates the percentages. How can a country come 3rd in the semi final with 57% of the maximum possible score?

It's the percentage of maximum possible points they could've gotten, not 57% of all the points given. A country has a total of 58 points to give out (1 + 2 + 3, etc.), but can only award a maximum of 12 points to a single country. So a country can only get a maximum of 20 twelve points if there are 20 countries voting, but those countries can still give their 10, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2 and 1 point to other countries.

Italy was an automatic qualifier, it didn't compete in the semis
