I watch a video on this pump on a channel where the person is from a different country and he's very careful about unplugging, unclamping, tying off hoses and all that, then I find this one, and my guy from the US is all "pfft electricity, just leave it plugged in and running and stick your hand right in there, no problem". It's those little things that tell you that's your people :)
Lol....in my country the tension of electricity is 220 volts not 110....I lived in Brasil for a while where the tension is also 110 V and my uncle could hold an nude electric wire in his hand ..without getting electrocuted...
IT WORKED!!! I WAS STRUGGLING FOR HOURS WONDERING WHY NO WATER WAS COMING OUT AND I JUST GOT IT MID APRIL 15. THANK YOU, NOW ITS ALL BACK TO NORMAL 🙌🙌🙌
The unit heats up fast and is super quiet. It looks fancy ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxl8Od2BvnGbn1ffwqsuFXW0QnmcZgMiVY and can be kept in the living room. It gets hot within a split second of turning on the unit. The build quality is exceptionally good and is safe to be around kids and pets. This one is super quiet and can be kept on while in office meetings, my wife loved it. It shows the temperature right on the unit which is very useful and adding a rotating feature helps to heat up the surrounding, so other people will not fight with you for heat. It is right as described in the description..!! Definitely recommend!!
Thank you very much for this useful video. My filter was clean (only two days old) but I wasn’t getting a good flow. Followed your advice on letting the air escape from the pump and it’s working perfect! I appreciate you, my dude.
worked like a charm! I also loved the trick of lifting the pump above water level to replace the filter. I did it at ground level last time... got soaked! LOL thanks man!!!
Great video have a question .. I got a 8x10 small one for my son .. can you or should you keep the filter on at all time or turn it off ? And should I put some chemical in to keep the water clean and what kind should I use thanks ..
Haven't executed yet. but I think you just saved a pool from being tossed. We had one before where the pump quit after about 2 weeks or less. Some stray cat damaged the air filled top so we tossed it. Ended up getting another one and the pump quick again. I think you nailed it. So glad I searched. Saved the day man.
Brian, thank you so much for your well explained vidio. I was panicking over my noisy filter I went on you tube and saw your vidio. My husband and me went and corrected the problem right away, a easy fix. Can't thank you enough, I was ready to take the pool down and sell it....lol 🏊♂️
THANK GOD FOR YOU BRIAN EALY! We just got our pool for covid 19. I had cleaned the filter once but didn't realize I needed to clean it once a week even though we skim, vacuum and don't see much in the pool. I guess the filter sees what we don't see. I still want to get a larger pump like yours or the next size up but on any website, pool store ect. they have nothing for 3 months. It all comes from China and they are manufacturing other things......like medicine we need for Covid. Thanks again, I am so glad I literally stumbled on your website. The filter is bubbling as I write this. Thanks Michael Marcinkwicz, Phoenix AZ
Thanks man... I eventually upgraded to a super nice intex sand filter that cost about $150. It cost a lot, but pumped about 10 times as hard and needed just seasonal maintenance. I got so pissed about those junk small filters.... they are garbage. It got to the point - that every day it stopped working... I wish you better luck. Thanks man, take care! (Btw the jet shooting back into the pool shoots so hard you can feel it from the opposite side)
@@BrianEaly Brian, I definitely from the beginning realized I'd need a bigger filter. I started looking on-line. Everyone appears to be out of anything larger. I went to Leslie Pools a chain and they said 4 weeks ago we could have helped out but not it will be 3 to 4 months!. He said the supply chain has been severely affected by the covid virus. I have several in carts on line waiting to be notified when they are back in stock. I like the sound of the sand filter you have that shoots the water to the otherside of the pool. That sounds great. Can you tell me which model that is and you think sand filter is better than cartridge? Thanks Mike.
I live in the Philippines and buying the pump (3x import duty) has been costly. After 3 days of following instructions and other tips - this was the ONLY way I got the pump to start flowing properly. 100/10 my friend. You’re a life saver!❤️😁
Thanks for trying it... it works every time. I got so tired of it stopping, I eventually bought an aftermarket bigger pump. For sure get you some Amazon filters, they are way cheaper. Best of luck, take care!
I got the the 10 x30 version of this pool and with the smaller filter and you're right these do get gunked up quick, I like the holding the pump up higher than the water trick, this will save me the time of going through the ritual ofdissconnecting the skimmer and return heads, inserting the plugs, I wish the smaller version had valves. But you can give them a good spray with the garden hose, takes about 5 minuets to get it really clean and re use it, that'll save a bit of money, otherwise I'd be changing mine twice a week, the gunk up so fast.
Thanks for this video! It solved my issue instantly!!! I am new to the pool world .. and I have an intex 18 x 48, with this exact pump. It had started to slow down and I was wondering why. I had back washed the filter once already, but now (literally just now) I went outside to completely change it. I’ve had the pool less than a month and I’m loving it so much. If I may ask, what brand do you recommend for pool shock? I heard the one by Clorox and spa from Walmart is great for vinly pools, but I can’t find it anywhere. Any recommendations? :)
I use shock treatment and at walmart they have a test strip kit for ph balance that you stick in the pool water then take a photo of it and it texts you how to balance the chemicals out! I have the 18x9x48 pool [bestway] and i use a floater with a tablet and the recommended powder in the filter however i have a sand filter
Little trick if you don't have a new one available just at that time you need it: use a pressure cleaner or a garden hose and wash it out, they can be cleaned to a certain degree. Use that option if your water desperately needs circulation. Thanks for the video, i didn't know they where that cheap on ebay.
How do you backwash this filter? I changed my filter yesterday and needed to change it again today. The filter worked better but 2 hrs later back to low pressure.. I'm losing my mind!!!!!
@@deepthoughtaffirmations Is the water super old? Thanks mate , we're actually having a summer worthy of the name in England so the kids are practically living in the pool that seems like a quick and easy way of kick starting the pump .
That was very helpful as the first time I did it, I wasn’t thinking and water was everywhere and I’m like “how do people do this?!” Of course hold it above water 🤣🤦🏽♀️
Which model pump is that? I'm starting with an 8 foot pool bc our backyard is small right now but I think it makes sense to not get the small 330. May as well invest and get a bigger one so when we have bigger yard I can upgrade pool :)
Thanks it worked I had repalced the cord then tried this and you have be patient. I may not go through the first time. I waited and the pump just came on! Thanks
Super video and sorted the problem straight away🥳🥳I only cleaned the filter yesterday and it clogged up again.I initially tried to release the purge valve with no luck.Thank you subbed
I had only changed my filter 2 days ago so I lifted it high as you said took the filter out and jetted it down with the hose to remove any dirt and then did the air lock thing and worked great thanks
Hello Brian, That's exactly the trick I did a few days ago, and I hadn't even seen your video ! pb is, the pumping is quite satisfactory for an hour and progressively the flow gets sluggish again... maybe there's a leaking of air through the cover of the pump; I don't know
I believe water got into my plug. I’m drying it out. However, would you know why my pump started running in reverse? I just cleaned the filter and plugged it up, and it was sucking water through the exhaust and pushing water out the intake.
Awesome! Picking up the pump above the pool worked great. Other videos just tell you to open it up Hahaha. I turned off my pump when I changed it out then turned it back on to release the air. Pump started pumping like it was new.
Thank you so much! I just got a pool pump for the first time. It wasn’t pumping. I had a new filter but I didn’t know to vent the air. After watching your video I fixed it in a minute. Thanks again!,,,k
Can’t believe I didn’t think about the fact that I could lift the pump up above the pool. I lost the little plugs so when I tried opening it it just gushed water so badly and I was like “how am I going to do this?!” Simple physics, duh lol Thank you
Thanks for this, but my pump won't even come on at all. It's acting like f it doesn't have power, but the outlet it's plugged into does have power. I don't understand. What do I do??? Is this still a filter problem?? Thank you!
Useful info. Mine however is not running. I hit test and the other button and nothing. Funny part is I tested it before hooking it up to the pool, and now is dead, not even a slight vibration like it had before.
Hi I have a question about the pump! I noticed when I put the dark grey ring back on to close the top the light grey piece is loose which lets the water out. Do you know why that’s happening? Am I putting it back together wrong?
Thank you for this I was wondering why my pool filter wasn't working and this helped it. I didn't think to change the filter thank you for this!! keep up the great work!!!
Is there a way to make this pump working without the holes in the pool? But over de side of the pool? Sucking the hose so it vacuum tracks the water in to the pump? Pls help I want to order one for my pool

dmodmodmo yeah I did but it is all fixed now, turned out that the spinning thing in the pump (idk what they are called) wasn’t securely attached to the motor😂
Ever have a problem were over night your pool looses half its water. Its happened to me twice. The water filter I believe in the middle of the night start pumping the water out of the pool, as if its clogged but it doesn't appear to be.

Lafe James wow what a dirty ass filter you might have.
You shouldn't just plug the two hoses a lot of pools give you plugs to come with them don't let the pump run without water like that
Thank you!!! Had no idea I needed to change the filter so soon and would have never thought to lift it above the water!

Let it run. Run it 24/7. It will usually clog after 2-4 weeks. At that time you can change or rinse out the filter. Thanks for watching, take care!

do i close the vent cap all the way or leave airflow while pump is on?

Help I just got a new one to make a water fall and can not get it to pump could the pump be to weak for the water fall
Can someone help me? This may sound super crazy, but I did those steps and pretty much the inside was floating with water. Could this mean, that some hoses are misplaced causing the backflow into the pump where the filter goes or does it supposed to do that?
thank 's you for your video it 's working now Brian you're the best
Your video was so helpful. Thank you.
How long do I leave my pump on for a 10ft bestway pool? Thx
My pump is making noise but no bubbles are coming in my pool. My filter is not dirty. I've only had the pool for about 2 weeks. Any suggestions?
Thank you very much, now can go to the shop and buy me some filters! They don't tell about this problem. Almost dismantled the pump 😬
Thank you man! I was about to buy a new pump!
Put the dirty filter in a bucket filled with warm water and two spoons of sodium bicarbonate , 2 spoons of vinegar ( cleaning white vinegar or wine vinegar) let it soak for a few hours( in my case 2 hours are enough..) and in the end wash it with some dish detergent bleach under the faucet flow and it will be as good as new.....alternatively a jet washer will do trick also.....
Thanks for sharing. Helpful info about the pop top.
Mine is le asking where the cap is? I dont know why… the ring is one tight. Is the cap supposed to fight loosely
I thought the top valve on the pool is for intake and output from the bottom? In the video you have water output (from the pump) on the top. Is that right?
If you follow the lower hose to the top of the screen thats what he says is the output, is how it suppose to be.
Thank you sir! Loving the intro song choice also.
Same problem thanks for posting this vid I was doing it wrong you save my day with the grandkids
Is it normal for water to slowly drip/leak out of the hole in the top of the Air Jet Valve when the pump is off?
Great video. Just wanna say if its dirty I blast them out with hose every couple of days. Makes them last longer. I change it out about once a month.
I'm curious. Once the filter is changed, does the capsule itself have to refill entirely with water?
The rooster in da background tho XD
Thank you! I did exactly what you said on video and it worked perfectly.
How do you get a stuck lid off of filter pool do I leave pump running when I remove lip mine is hard to get off I have to bang on it with something to get it off
I just put a new filter in, maybe 3 minutes ago!! It’s just making noise but no water is coming out
Did you purge the air from the pump?
dmodmodmo yeah I did but it is all fixed now, turned out that the spinning thing in the pump (idk what they are called) wasn’t securely attached to the motor😂
@@fr0237 ahhhhhh well good job
@@fr0237 Hi ! I have the same problem. How did you attached it to the motor?
Thierry Devroede I opened the pump and just pushed it back on, let it fill up with water again and it worked
Ever have a problem were over night your pool looses half its water. Its happened to me twice. The water filter I believe in the middle of the night start pumping the water out of the pool, as if its clogged but it doesn't appear to be.
Simple to the point 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Finally someone answers my question. Thank you!
