Appreciate the video!!!!!!!! I drive the forklift @my job and always hesitated on changing the tank because one of my coworkers tried changing it with bare hands and got burned real nasty. Finally today I watched this video and changed it my damn self 💯 GOOD LOOKING OUT BROADY
Word. That propane can get you. Learned using thick gloves, plus we were able to just drive up to fill up.... this way we didn't have to take the canister off
@@infernomaster2702 apparently his dumbass handled the tank/knob without gloves and on top of that not having any knowledge on changing it made things worse/ before removing the old tank I'm guessing he forgot to shut off the gas before removing and the gas ended up touching his hand and leaving a nasty burn, that's what kept me from changing it myself but then I seen this video and bam 💯
always keep a thick rubber glove with the truck for connecting and disconnecting the tank, if you do it properly and run the line dry you shouldn't have any issues but still, LP gas will give you frost burns real quick if it discharges onto your hand
After watching your videos, I’m gonna look way too knowledgeable when I actually get trained to use these. I’ll have a hard time convincing my work that I’ve never used these before😂
Remember those days when u grab a faulty propane tank, when you go to connect it the propane shoots out, important to wear gloves because that propane is cold...
A coworker of mine just used a propane forklift but there was no propane tank present on the tank frame. Is it normal for it to still start up and move without one???
Question bro, how much are you supposed to open the propane release valve after you've put a new tank on? I saw that you didn't open it all the way, and I believe that's the right way. I was taught to open it all the way.
You really should make sure that the park brake is on and you are wearing your PPE a heavy duty rubber glove propane can give you frost burn if the tank decides to go off.
i blew up one of the tanks from a bad valve. i put the hose on and it started spraying propane everywhere. froze up the valve and it became really hard to turn while it leaked. enough propane in the air to get me sick. for the next week i kept making our experienced driver swap out the tanks for me cause that was scary. but i learned, when it happens i just gotta keep turning before it freezes up.

If you don't open the valve enough the safety cut-off won't work. I think 2 full turns min.

Alot harder than it looks.
