Going to Texas in a few weeks bro u definitely made me wanna go get my forklift license ASAP so I can provide a better life for me and my family and my newborn son 💯💯💯
Wanna say I appreciate all the videos you put your time into making family! Starting my new job and we're learning about forklifts tomorrow, technically in 3 hours lol. Been up all night researching and your videos definitely made me feel at ease, I don't even drive cars but I feel confident after watching these videos. After my 150days ima come back and let you know how shits going. Appreciate it again brodie 💯🔐 thank you fr
Thanks for showing me how to brake in this video by plugging the forward and reverse controls. You have saved my back from what I’m sure would be many years of pain ahead. I can’t thank you enough!
i just watched 3 of your videos in 20 mins. im working for a company called Insomniac. Thank you Josh now i will be of more help i am excited to try this out tomorrow. i just started this warehouse gig with Insomniac, they also do music festivals and i saw alot of forklift work involved.
Got a forklift training tomorrow I'm still in highschool hopefully this does well for me in the long run my dad's been working in warehouse for 30 years hope to some what follow his tracks
Unfortunately I failed my forklift test today if only I had saw this literally an hour ago before the job fair I'd be straight right now 😢...but I'm not discouraged all I've ever driven was sit down never a reach truck but I know EXACTLY what to do next time thanks fam!
I got a job driving a forklift, sit-down, and standup, and I love it. I learned it watching your videos. I’m getting very good at it, and I am much appreciative for that. But I got one issue. When I get on the standup, the EPO is depressed sometimes, and I don’t know how to deactivate it. Could you tell me how???
Thank you for doing a new updated one I hope that you will show the different ones that is electric versus gas next and the different types of forklifts, and finally what should be a minimum starting pay for forklift drivers
@@forkliftjoe3620 I'm in Detroit Michigan so the going rate that I've heard of is between 12:00 on the low end 15 is more moderate only if you have more than three years do they give you 17 an hour. And I like that it's so short skill. Celebrating my birthday month so I plan on taking up the class since it's a one day course. But I like to know what are the differences between the electrical versus manual and the ones that you stand up versus the one she's sit down. I love how you make it seem effort and simple to do. There was someone that trained years back say about maybe 6 years ago with menards. And they lost a life from using I guess the wrong list and it fell on top of me crush them. Please let me know if you can do a video on this that I might stay tuned. Have a blessed remaining week thank you so much 👌🏼🙋🏻♀️😎🤔🎉✨
Usually not needed but in cases such as side shifts due to slightly off alignment when placing pallet up in racks. Or when pulling a pallet down that is close to another. Side shifting just might help not snag other pallet on way out. Tilting used for uphill or downhill to keep load level at all times.
I mostly use the side to side control to line pallets up when loading them in a truck, because the inside of a shipping container trailer is really tight.
How did you get used to the reverse steering? I was training today doing figure 8s around two pallets and then putting the forks in all 4 sides of the pallet and repeating , but i still mess up with the steering sometimes going forward or backwards because you have to reverse the steering any tips on getting better at it before I’m having to pick up 1000$ tvs
Yes just take it slow don’t be afraid to pick up and empty pallet and practice before real deal. You keep it smooth no hard brakes and pedestrian always first you cannot go wrong my friend!
I start a new job and thr reach truck has the attachment that actually makes it a reach truck and thats what ive never used so it has me sweatin and the bottm feet it has that extend out past the body, and it still surprises me to this day how much weight skinny racking can hold
@forkliftjoe3620 bra that shit was a nightmare wym lmao,I've drove forklifts since I've been a kid so everything's fine besides that attachment and the bottom front feet, anyone who's never operated a forklift or any p.i.t truck should not get on a reach truck,I'm stuck with a damn crown and the controls are doodoo
Jobs suck anymore man,you gotta go job after job after job until you find the right one, this job definitely ain't work out,I got the reach truck down but I can't work at a place for years and deal with disrespectful ppl
You always know when to turn so you're directedly lined up for the pallet that you want, even the ones that are high up. Are there any tips for how you do that?
Usually if u line up with the bottom one most likely from that pallet to the top pallet you should be able pick up with small adjustments to make sure load is stabilize.
Tomorrow is my training Day and the next day is my exam I feel very confident and I can't wait to be forklift certified ❤️💰🤑 I love your videos they been very helpful and I hopefully I pass I really want to be forklift certified
I passed but I feel I need more experience on lifting pallets again thanks for your videos and they truly help me pass my class today from Laredo Texas

Play with your forks, save up, get into a trade school in a field you like, and get the hell out lol. Warehouse work is for robots
Exactly what he said .. I wish I listened to 10% of what smart people told me . Instead I had to learn everything the hard way

If you could, show an example of situations of where the tilting and side to side controls are used?

Hello, I am writing from Turkey. I am a forklift operator and I want to work abroad. Can I find a job there?
Yes very easy
@@forkliftjoe3620I'm 22 years old, how can I get there? Can you help?
Good evening sorry where can I have a training of forklift
I can train you friend
Getting hired at Amazon is easy, and they will train you after you’ve worked there a couple months if you show you have a good work ethic.
Would you recommend getting into this career ?
I do it myself bro but it’s definitely not gonna get us rich by any means bro. Nice house couple cars yeah but nothing to much more.
This is great for a side skill for sure but always have a man career that pays more 📺🙋🏻♀️🤷🏼♀️💯‼️
Hi,
