I have a video interview in about 7 hours. I typically always experience anxiety beforehand, but I’ve been practicing my answers and I know I have the experience they’re looking for. I can do this!!

Sarah Mannion just play them off of each other...so, ask each of them what they do for the company, how long they’ve been with the company...it’s really important to make sure it’s a back and forth conversation so you don’t feel like you’re being interrogated

I love your vids! This is so important to me. I'm so glad that you keep stressing practice & recalling good points to pull out for the interview. I used to feel guilty doing this, but now I have a good, solid reason for the mental review. I have lived in a world of constant negativity and trying to pull out all of these things is extremely difficult for me. I literally have to work at thinking positively about my contributions to the previous employers as accomplishments. I was taught not to brag; just do it -- no pats on the back. Goal setting is another skill often pushed to the side, and it is a vital link to time management & mental organization. By emphasizing the necessity of recalling these pluses and really thinking about them for a while, you are showing the significance of preparation. It's just like studying for a test. Thank you for pointing out the two-way street of interviewing. It is just as important for us to know if the prospective employer is really who we want to work with.
