I am watching this on Wednesday. It is rainy and chilly here in the Northeast today. Thank you for being a ray of sunshine on a cloudy day. Have a great stitchy day.
You are soo brave! And inspiring! And now I have to go buy some 56 count material!! I’m still excited about our visit 2 weeks ago and sooo wish I had been able to come to the Open House!! We are currently in Lake Tahoe enjoying a day of snow! And stitching! We’ll be heading back to North Carolina on Monday, taking all our fabulous memories and my haul from Acorns and Threads and The Stitching Post! Thank you for your sweet kindness and will look forward to next year! 🥰
I so enjoy you keeping me company while I’m finishing up a sewing project, the time just flies by. The stitch you finished on the round box is so beautiful! One thread is such a great mantra, not overwhelming but still making progress forward. Thank you! 🌻
Never miss any if yours shows...cross stitch or quilting. You are a delight. You are so cute and pretty. We are the same age and still both young and vibrant !!!!!!
Loved your video, as always. Makes my day!! I’ve been enjoying one of two patterns I recently ordered from Acorns and Threads! It’s called “In the woods Bear”. Loving it!! Enjoying the Facebook group too! Enjoy your stitching!
Anna thank you for the “One Thread Stitch”practice. I’m trying it on a project I have been procrastinating on. It’s working! I don’t know how long but I’m putting the practice on other projects in my WIP parade. I looove the cross stitch of your round box it’s just so beautiful! About your train case you must find fabric & just line it with the perfect fabric. You can also cross stitch a wonderful pocket on the inside. Hope you like my ideas. Happy Stitching! 🧘🏽♀️🧵🪡🧶📚💕
Loved your hand washing story. When my son was four years old, he came out of the bathroom without washing his hands. I told him to go back and wash up. He said, "I don't need to 'cause I didn't touch myself. I just jumped up and down after I was done!"' I thought ... now I need to wash the walls. 😕
Thanks for the laughs today!! Always enjoy visiting with you. Your finish on the round box is exquisite. I love your little stitching buddy, Hannah, and the chair is perfect for her. I have been watching the Colorado Cross Stitcher for several years. I think the stitching buddies are wonderful. You may have just enabled me 🥰
Such a fun video!! Love to see the photos at the beginning! Now that I've been there, I recognize many of those smiling faces! Audrey is such a doll! I took your warning to heart and grabbed a slice of banana cake and a cup of coffee YUM. Your stitching is all adorable and coming along! I just love your designated stitch idea. I really, REALLY need to adopt that. Oh and seriously....I need a Hanna for my chair LOL. Your Lone Elm Lane finish is really beautiful. It really is perfection!! Thanks for sharing your fun!! Love you!! Hugs from NE Ohio.
Thank you Anna ! You made me smile throughout your video 😄 We can all use that. I so understand your story about school and perhaps feeling as an underachiever jajaja; I have three sisters that were extremely competitive, well I moved away and felt so much better. I am proud of all of my achievements. I am now traveling and miss my floor magnifier, light and collection of floss but still manage to stitch 2 -3 hrs a day with natural light or my travel light - Happy Fall
My go-to count is 18 with two threads for the reason you said. I like the 3D effect of the dense stitches like needlepoint. I suppose that is because I stitched needlepoint before I took up cross stitch in 2020. It’s amazing that you are stitching 56 count.
You were on fire again today! Oh man I burst out laughing when at the end when you said “you suck!” Nananabooboo to all the naysayers that said you couldn’t get anything done because those were some beautiful FFO’s!
lol Anna you are such Blessing ❤ Thank you for helping me continue day after day to try ! At the end of the video when you commented on your hurtful report card I could hear Toby Keith’s 🎶 How do ya Like Me NOW ! You are Beautiful. Brave . And Smart and such a beautiful stitcher
Thank you Anna. Loving your finishes, well done. I have finished a couple of cushions this month. It brings me joy to look over at the beautiful colours i chose for the embroidery. Its the simple things in life huh.
It’s Barbie Doll Pink. I would rather glue some other fabric to it or stitch it in. You go girl in your moving forward and stitching. It made me smile. I have a little chair that I stick seasonal pins in.
As always a great video. I would use chalk paint for the inside of ur box. It dries fast and does not wear off. I did it to a chair I got. It came out awesome. The weather here in Maine has changed. It’s like we didn’t even have a fall. Happy Stitching 🎃✂️🧵🪡❤️
I just love your “but 1st a weather report “ start. 😃. Im so jealous that you were able to go to the Open House & meet, Krista West & purchase her book. I just love her designs. You are brave Anna, we are a product of those that write those comments on those report cards and we strive to prove them wrong. 😂. Great idea on the Shores of Hawk run hallow, perfect fabric choice. The needle minder it does look like you at the end. Lovely finishes , that stitch is a perfect fit for the top of the box & the pin cushion is well done. Finger crossed that you get into the retreat. I’m sure you and Cheryl will have a fantastic time at autumn of abundance. Enjoy!
What fun! Guess I am not too old to try new things. I will get out that 46-count and have a go at it! Not sure if I will see you Sunday as I have a funeral Saturday and I am worn out from all of the pains in the last month. Hope to see you again soon!
Anna, another fun video. I always feel like it’s chatting with a friend. I was thinking about your garish needle case and you could maybe try this, I bought a sheet of felt with a peel off sticky side to line a small wooden jewellery box my niece made for me. It comes in an A4 size, it’s synthetic felt and could easily be cut down to at least cover a lot of the pink in the tray part and lid which would tone it down a bit. Maybe worth a try, good luck. 🇦🇺
Teachers can make us or break us. My 5th grade teacher told me I had a brain like an ant😣 We were outside the classroom, but everyone heard it anyway, Thanks for some good laughs today! Also, I would just live with your little case…I like the color. Maybe when you get all the “things” in there it’ll be less noticeable.
I started a Christmas tree skirt with a snowy village scene for me to stitch. Maybe you could make hexies that you stitch together and then sew them on top of the bright fabric. Like reapolstering without removing the existing material. I have to work in my dragonfly cove. It needs attention STAT. Love ya
I too enjoy your company while stitching and just happen to be stitching the 2024 Schooler Santa too! Love all you finishes, they made me say 'Oooo' out loud and my husband kept asking me what I was Oooing at, haha. For you little zippered case I think once you have all your things inside you won't notice the background so much or how about stamping it similar to the little note book cover you had with you PS finishes in. And finally...a book suggestion, The Vaster Wilds by Lauren Groff was really good read. TTFN 👋
On the report card messaging inside my head..... Kari(me) needs to learn to raise her hand.... Kari needs to learn to interact with her peers... Kari needs to learn to ask questions....Kari needs to not be so shy! I resolve to banish those messages from my head! Thanks for the encouragement... as I am 56 now. It does not matter if I am a shy person!!! I am who I am!
I’m planning to start The Artful Housewife’s beautiful butterfly chart for my November birthday. I ordered the floss pack from Roxy Floss and it’s stunning on the called for red fabric, join me for my first ever SAL
So enjoyed our visit today🥰… beautiful finishes, wips and chat time. One concern🤔… where is Enslo? Did not see him in his spot and in the view of the camera lens. Take care Anna. Until next time❤️
The horrible lining color is the reason I haven’t purchased a Winterybury case. I can’t live with that hitting me in the face every time it’s opened. If it was a cheap jewelry case from Amazon or Target I would alter the interior, but for the price of the Hobby House case I would have to live with it. Great job on all of your stitching!
Anna I just love you! Those labels you received as a kid are not you at all! You inspire me to bigger and better stitching but 56 count? I don’t think so ◡̈ . Your finishes are beautiful and you are the bee’s knees in my book.
Great plans for your stitching. I would think you could dye the fabric inside the case. How about trying coffee/tea to tone it down. Do you happen to know if your friend used a pattern for the chair your robot is sitting in? I have fallen behind on my Santa’s too.
Why don't you recover the inside, with fabric you like. Easy peasey😘 be creative and go for it. Use the insides as your pattern to replace that horrible pink.. Your finished are gorgeous. The round box is wonderful. Thanks for the entertainment...Love you. Enjoy your day!
Isn’t it funny how we hold on to those stupid negative comments that were said to us so long ago, and yet we dismiss the wonderful comments given just the other day. I am very guilty of that and with that in mind I just want to say “ Mr Lane, yes I can do math and as a teacher, YOU SUCK! Oh that felt good.
Loved your video, as always. Makes my day!! I’ve been enjoying one of two patterns I recently ordered from Acorns and Threads! It’s called “In the woods Bear”. Loving it!! Enjoying the Facebook group too! Enjoy your stitching!

Thanks for the smiles, Anna! Yes, worth every penny.
Love the "Wash your hands" piece and especially the story behind it!!! Kids are SO entertaining!
You gave me several good laughs tonight, thank you. Always enjoy your flosstubes.

Yes, they do suck!
Great finishes, love that box.
Have fun at the retreat!

A sharpie pen will dye your fabric. Just love your video 😊
Hannah is such a happy looking companion!
Oh my! You are a treat. Lovely finishes. Great plans. 56 count - brave it is. You inspire. Good times.

Just love your "aged like fine wine" round box finish! Perfect choice for that stitch. Love love love it n you too!

Love your pillow and box. Very beautiful.
Thank you again for another wonderful video. ❤ Happy stitching.
I was so happy to see you finished my stitched piece on the box. You did a lovely job!
Just love Hannah… sometimes you just have to have some exceptional stitching company. Perfect 😍
You are so funny!❤ Anna thanks for sharing! Have a great week.❤
Thank you Anna. Loving your finishes, well done. I have finished a couple of cushions this month. It brings me joy to look over at the beautiful colours i chose for the embroidery. Its the simple things in life huh.
Again, you've made my day. thanks a bunch!
I love your videos! The uplifting, down to earth interaction makes me feel like a friend. Thanks for sharing and the laughs❣️

I just love you. You make me smile ,thank you.
When I highlight on my patterns I use a friction yellow marker. When done I just iron the page clean.
I just love your “but 1st a weather report “ start. 😃. Im so jealous that you were able to go to the Open House & meet, Krista West & purchase her book. I just love her designs.

Thanks for the fun video! It was like visiting with a friend.
Stitch in your beautiful hexies to the inside of the bright coral box🤓.
That is adorable! I am smiling!😊
That’s it. Your word for 2025 should be brave. I always enjoy your videos and seeing what you are working on.

I wish I knew how to help you with that little case. That thing is BRIGHT! Fun seeing you on Saturday.
Anna, good to see you again. Your robot is so cute!! Great finish on the round box. I stitched a couple of blue letters while watching you.
Embrace the coral! After all your pretties are in there, perhaps only a bit will still peek through? Add a nice stitched pillow, etc?? 🤣💕
Hi Anna, thanks for the encouragement as I too am organizing stitch and quilt corners. No room as of yet but hope that eventually that will come!
Teachers can make us or break us. My 5th grade teacher told me I had a brain like an ant😣 We were outside the classroom, but everyone heard it anyway,

Thank you!!!
There is fabric paint you could try. Or maybe appliqué fabric to it? Thanks for keepin me company today❤️
Just to be controversial I love the interior of your stitchy box ❤
Love the ‘one thread’ idea & plan to use it.
Hello from Victoria Australia. Oh my goodness 56 count! Go girl. Me? I am an Aida girl. Hugs😂
On the report card messaging inside my head..... Kari(me) needs to learn to raise her hand.... Kari needs to learn to interact with her peers... You could try using antique spray. Love your finishes
I’m planning to start The Artful Housewife’s beautiful butterfly chart for my November birthday. I ordered the floss pack from Roxy Floss and it’s stunning on the called for red fabric, join me for my first ever SAL
You can paint it with fabric paint or cover with another fabric with a fabric glue.
We need to start calling you Lucy Anna😂
Maybe the walnut crystals spray to age fabric for the beautiful red box??
So enjoyed our visit today🥰… beautiful finishes, wips and chat time. One concern🤔… where is Enslo? Did not see him in his spot and in the view of the camera lens. Take care Anna. Until next time❤️

❤
Fun as usual. I have a plump sheep that sits on my desk and brings joy to me each day. How about one of your cross-stitches sewn into your box?
Anna you cracked me up 😂😂😂😂😂
I was wondering what the book Everyday Folks is about? Cross stitch or quilting? Love your videos. You were the first video I watched.
Pepto-bismal😝😝😝😝 I'd remove and redo using the innards as a pattern. Yeah not pretty!😂😂😂❤your bee hive box is gorgeous!
Your 56 count is beautiful.
Great plans for your stitching. I would think you could dye the fabric inside the case. How about trying coffee/tea to tone it down. Do you happen to know if your friend used a pattern for the chair your robot is sitting in? I have fallen behind on my Santa’s too.
Could you use a small sponge to spot dye your new red case?
I love it!! You suck to critics!! .........................Way to be bold!!
Why don't you recover the inside, with fabric you like. Easy peasey😘 be creative and go for it. Use the insides as your pattern to replace that horrible pink.. Your finished are gorgeous. The round box is wonderful. Thanks for the entertainment...Love you. Enjoy your day!
