Why the length is 2.2 if every single plywood sheet o any difrerent one is 2.5 m????? + What is athe Point in producing to short vehicles all the time????
Just a quick note. Saic's website has made a bit of a balls up with the technical info on their website, which it appears you've quoted. They've put the NEDC ranges for both the short and long wheel base versions in the SWB boxes and put the WLTP ranges in the LWB boxes. The correct ranges are below. NEDC: SWB 35kwh - 141m, LWB 35kwh - 132m, SWB 52.5kwh - 213m, LWB 52.5kwh - 197m WLPT: SWB 35kwh - 99m, LWB 35kwh - 95m, SWB 52.5kwh - 151m, LWB 52.5kwh - 141m
Thanks for the info I didn't look at the website, I quoted what I recieved direct from Maxus, but it looks like the website may need correcting. The WLTP figures are with a 750kg load so in most cases are a little pessimistic. As you can see from the video I was getting 130-140 miles in real world winter conditions with various loads. The van is made from composites and alloys so if much lighter than current vans and that is another factor that will increase expected range against other models. The only way I think we will find the true range of the different models is from owners posting their figures. I can't wait to see what the summer figures will be like.
@@lakes_eco_van4638 I had a 4 day test drive in the 52.5kwh version the other month and my experience wasn't as good as yours, although still probably better than the stated WLTP. I done 3x100+ mile trips which were 80-90% motorway miles, doing 60-65mph at around 5c and I was getting a pro-rata range of around 140 miles. A more even split between motorway and town driving would have seen that range creep up towards 160-170 miles. 100% town driving in the summer and that 200 mile NEDC range seems doable.
@@ziyaa2018 Sounds about right, 140 miles, constant speed, 5c, in something shaped like a wardrobe isn't too bad. I'd be happy with that. So many factors matter as well especially in van, with a strong tail wind on the M6 motorway I can get an extra 25 miles out of my eNV200, that's almost an extra 25%.
@@lakes_eco_van4638 It's not terrible but I was hoping for more. I had an eNV200 for 20 months but needed something bigger and with a bigger range and thought the LWB Maxus would be the answer. I ended up ordering a 75kwh e-Dispatch XL - a hefty discount from the Citroen dealer meant there was very little difference between that and the LWB 52.5kwh Maxus.
Friggin tempted ... but 3 points of contention though . The 30 grand price tag ( the lower amps a waste of everyones time lets face it ) . To run this for 3 years doing 6-10 thou a year is good . You lose half its value at a guess but 5 grand is easy enough to swollow if you are DPD ..... i am not . My realistic miles is more like 25 to 40 a year . Is it going to be a 30 miler range van by the time you hit 3 years due to battery and 120 thou miles now on it ?..... hard to know . Its value at this point wil be more like 5K . I cant earn enough back from the lack of fuel compared to elec to justify this purchase . If you could drag it out over a longer period of say 5 years to spread the cost that sounds a plan buttttttt closer to 200 thou is completely unrealistic of any elec vehicle . 2nd is its chinese . Sad to say they make motorcycles out of dogshit so its hard to assume this vehicle will be any better . The nissan e-nv maybe not as fast or missing a few things this does but its a nissan so you can fix it at no end of main dealers plus its less likely to suffer the same fate . Thats a shame . Who wants to be the guinea pig with there own money ? 3rd and its a big one . Its a maxis .... a what now ? when it does turn to shit on the rainy winters evening with something like the handbrake will not release the local dealers going to tell you to bugger off and theres no-one around to sort it out except for the people who sold you this wherever they are ..... now thats an issue . Needs a tie in with a dealer network to guarentee parts and repair . 4th ... ok 4 then , just thought of this .......ive already looked into leasing and its fuckin expensive . 5K down and 600 a month for the sort of period its needed in the van world means its not a viable consideration . I realllllly want to be running elec i reallly do but thats unrealistic compared to its equal in diesel . Its a cost thats not easily absorbed without dipping bellow mini wage and thats unrealistic ...... so the dealer network needs to take control of its own leasing to be assured of a steady stream of customers and good residual resale .
@Lee I only wish it was possible . I cant see any route around the issues of the cost . Its very much of interest that theres admittedly awful but either way small elec vans you can buy today for 5K on the road in china . This is the west though so much more expensive but if china would go to the trouble of flooding the market with cheap imports id be grateful as the desire to run an elec van is strong but im painted into a corner at the minute .
Well done I found your video very informative and very interesting thank you
hello, please tell me how to check soh batteries on maxus. Maybe you know mobile app?

If you have no load n the back, try dropping the tyre pressure a wee bit, should be a softer ride.

side door aperture looks shit for pallets
Theres not a small van on the market you can drop a pallet through . I am with you on this but then is it needed considering the size ? im not sure
