I don’t think Sherif thought Bronzetti was going to be the one to eliminate her, especially after the first set. Lucia stepped up big time.

The compliance and agility of Sheriff were top-flight on the pitch. However, her efforts weren't adequate to outclass Lucia Bronzetti in the deciding set. Huge congrats to Italian professional player!
The strong, independent boss babe couldn't handle the loss with grace. The "just die" stare handshake at the end is utterly despicable.
Sheriffs winning strategy is take medical timeouts. All matches she has won are that way. this time it dint wrk

WOW, what a game. 14 Aces and 5 of them in the last set and still lost.
Interesting result!!! Sherif displays such athleticism, and it seemed rather obvious that she was the superior player, with Bronzetti having to keep fighting just to stay afloat. But Lucia's determination wins the day! I have seen this before with Sherif. She comes out guns a-blazing, ready to dominate, but then tails off as the match progresses. She did win two earlier tourneys recently, but I would've thought her quickness and agility would've won this match. Brava, Lucia, for standing firm!

Sherif grunting is so annoying! OMG!!! Even much worse than Sonego's.
to be fair Sonego has quietened down a lot, wish I could say the same about Sherif.
