I'm vibing hard with that 2nd phase music. Like, it's just refreshing to hear fast paced song that's not choir and heavy emotional. Not that i dislike emotional OSTs, but that 2nd phase music is just, refreshing (For me)
The one that always gets to me is Nameless Song, the DS1 ending credits. I cry almost every time I hear it. It's we the players song but god it hits the feels.
When I first got to the Soul of Cinder, I (while only having snipets of lore, I hadn't even watched any Vaati yet) inmediately felt the "soul" crushing weight of the Plin Plin Plon. I hadn't played DS1 yet, only DS2 at the time. I inmediately felt: "This is one of the greatest bosses of the greatest game of all time. I don't want this to end. Please, let me die to return to the fury of phase 1..." *And then along came Isshin and Radahn.*
When I first played DS1 after everything I’d heard about it (git gud & all that) I was so taken off guard by the serene character creation theme I immediately knew there was so much more to these games than just difficult combat
I play ds1 i reached to final boss and i say man this theme was really sad after knowing the story of ds1 i play ds3 when i reached final boss after killing him then raised up again the the music was so epic and im saying its gwen again and Tears started to fall without realizing If there are spelling mistakes, I'm sorry, English is not my language
My top 5 HYPEST OST's from each respective game (in order of release) are Ornstein and Smough Old Dragonslayer Ludwig the Holy Blade The Abyss Watchers and Radagon of the Golden Order
@@flipmonke dark souls 2 is a really beautiful and touching game i just wish people would start looking into it instead of constantly comparing it to ds1 and ds3 to come to the conclusion that its "bad" its just different, in a good way, doesnt always have to follow the same formula
Frenzied flame merchant song, it's not in the official soundtrack but merchants play it past the subterranean shunning grounds, in the frenzied flame area. 👍

Agreed. Just everything about it is perfection.

True, especially hearing it on your first playthrough. It's actually quite depressing

Honestly was disappointed in the difficulty of the Soul of Cinder tho
The way Vordt'ts theme fits with the video is hilarious.
The soundtracks and gavity truly hit different in these games.
