INTERVIEW | 12 questions with "ERRA"

- Before entering the stage in Nuremberg, on December 9th, JT Cavey and Jesse Cash gave us some insights into their work with their band „Erra“.
Besides their ongoing European tour, we talked about in which ways the musicians enhanced over the past few years. Besides that, we asked them, how the fans accepted JT as the new singer of the band and about Jesse's ongoing side project besides „Erra“. Jesse explained to us, if there were any difficulties in handling both ventures, while JT revealed the thoughts of the band on Jesse's other project. Also, we learned, how bummed times in the lives of the two are affecting Erra's lyrics and music in general. While Erra's not touring, all the members have jobs, so we wanted to know, where they actually work back home in the States. Of course, we also spoke about the guys' announcement about a new album back in May - and they unveiled, how the process is going and what you can yet expect from the new work. I got to speak with JT after the show here in Columbus OH a few days back. I was wearing an older ERRA shirt to the show. He mentioned the age of the shirt and also made sure to say that he was not the original singer. I just said that doesn't matter, he still kills it and I was pumped to meet him. He seemed to appreciate that, I'm sure people bring up Augment all the time.

Origin Adept Y of course music is subjective but when it coems to technique he is better then Ian but less then garrison and in terms of range hes lesser of the three all together hes so flat at all times no highs no significant lows flat mids its almost like hes talking really aggresivly lyrically his lyrics are so choppy sounding like he looked up alternate definitions for aimple words found the more complex verbs ect then just smashed them togethet

I love you guys.. Munich was so amazing but I was so sad that there was no impulse or augment.. Sure white noise and hybrid earth were played but I missed the architect a lot...

Agreed such a flawless album but their other shit is still amazing as well. Id love them to rerecord Andromeda, that ep has amaxing songs but the production and mix are not super professional

you named the video "12 questions with ERRA" but all i see is JT and Jesse. THAT IS NOT AN INTERVIEW WITH ERRA! thats an interview with the "vocalists of ERRA" which everyone seems to think is how it works for every band. No bro i dont get how this ever happened and is still happening. if youre doing an interview to vocalists dont say youre interviewing the band. thats an obvious lie. Also say youre input about the writing process especially if its about impulse or drift. anyone who only focuses on or only interviews vocalists is instant trash. nothing against standalone vocalists at all but cmon its been ridic!
Jesse literally writes all the songs now. He's not just a vocalist, he is ERRA. He's always played lead guitar in the band and wrote most of their discography by far, you re seriously delusional. The only time Jesse wasn't the sole person writing the music was when Alan was in the band and they'd do their own songs.
