Just bought one a couple weeks ago. It's a 2006 sm with 38k miles on it. It's 100% stock (even has the tool pouch on the back) and it was dirt cheap because it's high mileage. Only needs a new timing chain and tensioner as a precaution. I absolutely love it.
My 2019 DRZ400E just hit 60,000km I haven't done anything to it besides oil changes its very capable offroad it still keeps up with 450s its the best choice of bike.
Great review, really liked your description. Cheers from the USA!
Thanks for jumping in!
I got 2024 DRZ400SM it is one of the few unregretable choices I've made in my life. This thing gets you more than you need.
@@abumatuq8500 They’re a great bike. Get lots of fun out of them. Where is your favourite place to ride?

Awesome to hear mate! Plenty of life left in her. Lots of fun to be had!
The 2006 model doesn’t suffer with the chain tensioner problem.
I got a black 2023 DRZ400s here in the US. It's my first bike, and i love it!
How good are they?! Such a great all rounder. Any big trips planned?
@MCLifeAus it's amazing! Once the weather breaks I'll be doing a lot of riding on and off road!
Great that you get the best of both worlds with the DRZ!

I’m there with you Abdullah. 60,000 is a huge effort. Hopefully mine keeps ticking over, currently has 14,000.
I kick myself in the ass everytime I think about how I could have had a bone stock, 2002, with only 7k miles in it for only $1500
Generally a bloody good price for what you are getting!
Why are you all driving on the wrong side of the road! lol
Haha we like to keep things interesting over here.
His on the correct side of the road, here in uk we drive on the left so his country is doing it right.
@@Sean_03_636 I know, I was just joking. But thank you for responding.
