I Have Perfected The Stuffed Cheese Burger!

    I’m always down for a smash burger! But for the 4th of July, let’s go Full American and do it big with a Stuffed burger!
    I made a fresh batch of Chimichurri, and if you want that recipe, let me know :) but really any chimichurri will work for this!
    Line a muffin tin with paper or silicone muffin liners and fill them up about half way or so with Chimichurri. Freeze for 2-3 hours, then we’re all set to place them inside out meat boat and seal it up.
    I’m smoking these, it’ll help bring the temperature up from edge to edge so we don’t have a raw interior! I pull these off at 120, then sear very hot for 45/60 seconds on the @recteq_official DualFire, and let them rest up to 140-145 internal! Just make sure you check the temp of the meat, not the filling!
    Build it however you want, but this was amazing!!!

    I don't really like stuffing burgers. It's almost always more work than it's worth, because you could just take whatever you're stuffing the burger with and either mix it into the meat instead or use it as a topping.
    That said, that DOES look good.

      @@ALFsKitchen1 ok. so a steak can be cooked to 140 because the bacteria is on the outside and you kill it way before you reach that, but with a burger at 120 degrees the bacteria is on the inside and you would NOT kill it. So unless you have the purest beef in the world i wouldn't recommend that.
