This is looking awesome! Thanks for detailing the process especially on the body work. Eventually I will get to this phase on my project and its great to see that you can get these kinds of results working in your garage at home with a reasonable investment in tools.
What year Jeep, as I had one very much like that one with a solid tailgate .1976 CJ5 black Baja Bucket Seats 305 V8, 305. I sold it to a Detroit Lions player .
Looks good, couple of suggestions, 1st one take the filter out of the gun when you spray primers, 2nd to save money they make a " dmt" primers (direct to metal) high build, and you should be using a 2.0 to a 2.4 tip for the high build 😉
Oh yeah? Does the filter slow the flow of the thick primer? I think the tip I was using is 2.5.... will a smaller tip produce a finer mist? Thanks for watching!
@@NickDowner your basically spraying on body filler ,the gun filter hinders the amount of fillers, 2.5 tip is fine, a great person to watch is pharraway on UA-cam, he can explain a whole lot better than I can
Came for the Jeep. Staying for the Mustang!! Can't wait to see that beauty brought back to life!
Also +1 on the JCW

Consider painting it that acid green color that is one of the old paint layers. Looks great.
Ooo great idea! I was actually thinking the same. Thanks for watching Robert!
Oh yeah, under the roll bar is a classic rust spot for CJs. Mine was pretty bad too.
