You might conquer Poland, but you will never defeat them. They'll fight until the bitter end and even then they won't quit. Speaking of which, I'd love it if you did the story of ORP Poirun, the Polish Naval destroyer that attacked none other than the King of the Sea himself, the KMS Bismarck. Poirun's guns barely did any damage to the German Dreadnought but they were too fast for Bismarck's massive guns to train upon as she sailed circles around Bismarck as they drew Bismarck's fire while the Royal Navy task force closed in to sink him, Poirun's guns blazing and her radio transmitting a single repeating message to Bismarck -- "I am a Pole" in an exemplary act of Polish defiance. I actually went there, to the ruins of these very bunkers when visiting my wife’s relatives and was told this story. How lovely for these Polish war hero’s to be honored by Yarnhub 🇵🇱
I dare to say that this is the best animation on this channel yet. Something tells me that the animators had fun with this one as every human motion in this video seems natural. Not to mention the attention to detail and bullet travel animations. I am thrilled to hear my mother tongue, Polish, spoken with fluency which begs the question "Was it Ai or native speakers"? I am uncertain as some sentences seem rather strange to me. For instance, at 12:00 we have a phrase "Affix bayonets, men" which was translated to "Przygotujcie bagnety mężczyźni". I would have used the phrase "Bagnety na broń żołnierze/panowie" or leave it with the first 3 words as it is the Polish command for "fix bayonets". I am a native speaker with an interest in military, majoring in English linguistics - translation faculty and I would be more than happy to assist with Polish terminology.
The battle known as the Polish Thermopylæ. This battle, in which Polish defenders held off Heinz Guderian and the Wemacht (while outnumbered roughly 40 to 1) for 3 full days, put paid to the lie of Polish Calvary units charging Nazi panzers. Niech Bóg błogosławi takim ludziom jak Władysław Raginis i niech Bóg błogosławi Polsce (God bless men like Władysław Raginis and God bless Poland)!
it must be said that the Poles surrendered and were later killed in a prisoner of war camp. The second thing is that Polish logistics failed, lack of ammunition is unacceptable at the front and this was the case with every defensive post.
Władysław Raginis was a Polish military commander during the Invasion of Poland in 1939 of a small force holding the Polish fortified defense positions against a vastly larger German force during the Battle of Wizna. Because the positions were held at great cost for three days before being annihilated with few survivors, Wizna is referred to as the Polish Thermopylae and Captain Raginis as a modern Leonidas.
Poland is no longer outgunned, Their military currently is very powerful with the latest American aircraft and weapons. Combined with South Korean Tanks and artillery, M-1a1 Abrams tanks, Himars, Apache gunships, F-35 stealth aircraft etc
Its just WOW... As far as this battle is known to Poles, REST OF THE WORLD was quite unaware of its existance, and we all basically think "ah, yeah, Polish horseman charged on Panzers and were defeated in few weeks" - THANKS for making this stunning video and reviving the heroism of polish soldiers. czechoslovakia was forced to surrender and with out a fight, most czechoslovaks however were aginst this and ready to fight for there nation, but outnumbered, outguned and with no allyes refusing to help they had no choise.
However one division refused to lay down arms and to the germen arival they responded with gunfire...
You’ve really improved over the last few years! This animation is among the best I’ve ever seen!
Congrats on 1 million Yarnhub. I love watching your stories. You got me into war.😊
4:30 bro was just chilling
BOBER KURWA :D
This is easily the best video ever with a truly incredible story
Nice, these videos keep getting more realistic
As a matter polish person and a person who’s great grandparents fought in ww2, I love this vid!
Thanks for making an episode about our Polish heroes :)
I actually went there, to the ruins of these very bunkers when visiting my wife’s relatives and was told this story. How lovely for these Polish war hero’s to be honored by Yarnhub 🇵🇱
This is cool! BTW congrats on 1M subs!
the 7.7mm Ur anti-tank rifle did not penetrate the armor but created devastating spalling on the inside which injured the crew or set alight ammo
You guys are making stuff better than game studios are
I dare to say that this is the best animation on this channel yet.
Niech Bóg błogosławi takim ludziom jak Władysław Raginis i niech Bóg błogosławi Polsce (God bless men like Władysław Raginis and God bless Poland)!
one of the polish thermopylae*
It is CAVALRY, not calvary
Bruh if the shell hit the beaver though 💀
“Can we go now?”
“No”
“You and what army will fight them?”
“Idk”
Hello everybody from Portugal here 🇵🇹🇵🇹🇵🇹🇵🇹 I love this channel I see your videos everyday!!
"watch" better
As a pole i want to thank you for covering our history and also for your high quality content. Keep it up lads.
Congrats for 1 million subscribers!
it must be said that the Poles surrendered and were later killed in a prisoner of war camp. The second thing is that Polish logistics failed, lack of ammunition is unacceptable at the front and this was the case with every defensive post.
Congratulations on 1 million
Władysław Raginis was a Polish military commander during the Invasion of Poland in 1939 of a small force holding the Polish fortified defense positions against a vastly larger German force during the Battle of Wizna. Because the positions were held at great cost for three days before being annihilated with few survivors, Wizna is referred to as the Polish Thermopylae and Captain Raginis as a modern Leonidas.
Historical mistake on Polish side: Collar tabs were taken off during war/September 1939
Bc if the enemy captured them right?
@@mrbubz6942 It was easier to "find" soldiers with those on battlefield and identify what branch of army you are fighting
@@--KIK-- thanks
I was blown away by the quality of this video! Keep it up!
the poles were no push overs
We still are no push overs... just need to awaken again.
@@MIMALECKIPL Yes yes, we know you're begging for article 5. One day...
The Poles gave the Germans and Russians hell in WW2 and for that I will respect all Poles for the rest of my life
@@Wolfpackhunterwell, they started 😉
@@roadtrain_Begging? Article 5 is not a negotiable thing. Binds everyone equally.
Poland is no longer outgunned, Their military currently is very powerful with the latest American aircraft and weapons. Combined with South Korean Tanks and artillery, M-1a1 Abrams tanks, Himars, Apache gunships, F-35 stealth aircraft etc
I love the recent memes in this. Great animation
Thank you for covering this piece of history!
ww2 has so many wild and heroic stories
It is so crazy to see how this Chanel is going, year after year this content and videos are evolving, good 👍 job, keep it up!❤️
Your videos are soo unique and amazing!!💯🤘 Keep up the great content!! Love learning about WW2 battles and actually seeing great animated scenes!💯
PS FIX BAYONETS!!!
