I just got this bike same colour vivid black, have to wait till the 15th of this month for the shop to revive it then put a stage 1 tune on it can't wait, I'm 23 and it's my first proper bike I promised my old man I would get one and ride with him as he has had a softball classic his whole life, can't wait to see how this turns out!!
I am looking forward to seeing the journey and final outcome. I agree, those mid controls are crap! I test rode a 2018 last summer and my legs were cramping within minutes of taking it out. I always enjoy your videos!
Howdy. I took the side reflectors off of my 2019 fxbb. I got fishing ling under the lip and pulled with a slight sawing motion. Came off easy. A little goof off and all good. No need for heat.
love your videos, i got a hd fortyeight 2012 which i love, the only problem is the city where i am living at, Riyadh, dirty, dusty and horrible traffic. Looking forward to see more of your vds, love your customizations, some day i will do mine too. regards
The guys do some lovely work I have to say. The next time I come over from the US to visit family I'll have to stop by the dealership. I do like the white Street Rod too. Keep up the good work and thanks for the quality videos mate.
We spend thousands to buy a harley.and then spend thousands more to alter them it's crazy but I love it.can't wait to see how the bike turns out .Great vlog Mark cheers
Definately will be following this! The Street-Bob is one of three bikes I'm looking to buy for my first harley and first bike all together. The other two being the Iron 1200 and the Sport-Glide. The first choice being the Sport glide but I'm worried about dropping a 14K bike, but with the Iron 1200 i'm not sure how I feel about the sportster (Though I like the look of it) its the small tank (as I'm planning long rides with it). The Street-bob i'm not so much into taking the seat off for the pre- load turning and I dunno about that mini digitial display. Also with the 1200 and the Street I know that if I bought one of them I'd be changing it sooner rather then later for the Sport-glide.
I've got the iron 1200. It would be real nice for a first bike. The damn thing holds itself up it's so well balanced. It's got the 3 gallon gas tank so I fill up about every 2 to 3 days but I ride pretty hard. It's kinda hard not to on a Sportster lol. All that said, if you have a chance to test ride a softail first I would definitely take it
I am really hoping you guys do some engine upgrades this time, its always just bolt ons and cosmetics. Do a stage 4 kit on one of these builds, give it the power to match the look. My dealer here in Australia did an 18 streetbob with a stage 4 and it made 128hp, the thing is a party on wheels, especially with the narrow rear. I like the idea of where you are going with build, but please give the thing some grunt this time.
I hope you put some inverted forks on that beauty. I’d do it to mine if I had the $$$! Love to see how that looks! Can’t wait to see your take on the FXBB 🤘 It going to be hard to say goodbye to it once it’s complete 😅
Upside down forks with spoked wheels wouldnt be visually pleasing for me, " a bit like sandals and long grey socks" mags would make it look awsome, if theyr stuck in the moment of the bobber theem and keeping the spoked wheels, perhaps they should have kept the dyna 103 lump and just updated the frame.

@@StreetBobberVlogger Sounded a bit like Yoda " one of them are you" lol, No not at all, i'm all for improvements, and you have agreed, upgrade the wheels, i was very supprised when they launched that model, new engin new frame and then , i cant help but think " that ull do yah wheels".. should it not shadow its predecessor, the wheels are very much a feature. Lack of foreward controls has stopped me from buying that model , ive been hanging on eighteen months and i'm sure i'm not on my own, i hope shaws will allow you to give us some finer details on the forewards or even market something, i'm convinced they would go like hot cakes..
im thinking of flipping the mirrors in my superlow. due to the tank size im bit skeptical if replacing the default bars with drag bars be helpful or not. any suggestion will be much helpful.
Needs flat/drag bars on it. But I get the feeling that he's not really into the Street Bob. I have a Dyna Street bob limited edition with mag wheels and I love it.
Does Shaw speed and customs sell the forward controls for these bikes because I have one and I have been looking for a long time on a way to get forwards on my 2018 street bob
Hi. Would you have me buy it as a first bike. Coz I really think this is the one. Been avoiding my calling for like 2 years now. And starting on a super sport is not an option for me. Help.
I'm 6 Ft and I love the mid controls. Same hip and knee angle as sitting on a desk chair. Plus they are better for throwing the bike around and having fun. PLEASE don't customize it into an amazing, capable, performance driven bike, and then put forward controls on it!
OK first off, I know its a old saying, in that in a yr since the new platform came out and the smooth feel (ride) of the '18-'19 models are great but I have to say this( not ) really sure how to put it with out a naughty note to it, well let's just say one reason why ladies love the Harley experience is because of the shakiness of the classic Twins ext, GULP its not as fun riding on back of or riding one themselves if you get my gist 😉 , its a fact that of a woman and the Harley experience , just throwing that out there Mark, well now that I've broken all the comment rules , I'm out ta here 😂, Keep riding and be safe Mates and Matettes
