He was demo-ing their base breaker product in a /86.
I’m just not a fan of base breaking 90% of the time. Unless they WANT the warmth that they WILL get from a base break (ever ruined a perfectly icy platinum blonde highlight with orangey roots after a base break?) then you are only ruining all of your hard work.
I usually just tap in a 10AV in something I have on hand, with 10 Vol and watch it, but I had to try this one. Base breaking must be trending on IG or something, because everyone was out in the other line I use. I am.not a fan of the warm roots, either, but Wella's pearl violet will be pretty. I'll use it on one of my blondes that doesn't care what I decude to use on her. I have slowly added more Wella back into my arsenal, because it's just so damned beautiful.
