You might not find U,P,H notation on your processor and instead you might find some other family notation at the end such ss HK for H-family, G7, G4, G1 for U-family and as such.

G in Intel Processors means that the Processors has great Graphics unit, like G1,G4,G7 series have UHD G1, Iris Plus G4/G7, Iris XE G7 respectively. CPUs in this series include, i5-1035G1, i7-1165G7 etc. you can even look for yourself.

Don't get confused. Buy the "U" one only if you are not into gaming. I am a software engineer and its more than sufficient.
I can vouch for the same, it has low battery usage and the single core performance is more than enough for smooth and fast compilation speeds ( for i7-U )

I love the effort, but you are factually wrong here. U = "Low Powered" doesn't exactly translate to Lesser Processing power. It simply means that the CPU is made to work with a lower power consumption, which often translates to better battery life. The "Performance" of a CPU largely depends on things like Core Count, CPU speed and more.
I repeat, A CPU being Low-Powered doesn't entirely dictate its processing power. There are a lot of other factors that go into this.

What is the difference between those? Does a higher number represent higher power??
See the first 11 represents 11th gen for Intel and the other numbers represent the model and here higher the number represent more cores or power. Like i7 range comes with 4, 6 and 8 core variants. There might be a lot of cases in which i5 6 core will surpass i7 4 core version in regards of performance.
So you won't be able to just say that i7 is powerful than i5.
@@jojosoni Goto Intel's official website by searching the exact model number. If you want specs with performance charts refer other websites. Amd's new cpu lineup is even more complicated.

Well I'm running win11 on my 2nd gen i3 4gb ram potato laptop, and you won't believe but its running smooth af, no issues at all (I didnt update, I installed)

Nope, I have W11 in my, Amd 5300U
Windows 11 is natively supported only from 8th gen onwards. But you can still install it with a boot usb with older ones too and it will still work great if win10 worked great.

Don’t underestimate excel as low power task
Compared to other hungry monsters, i would say it's fairly estimated. Unless you make a 15mb workbook with calculations on 😂
Try running lumion in that Excel based system you'll know the difference

If its AMD their U is almost powerful and efficient as H while intel U is slow.

Intel i5-13500hx is faster than i9-11900hx.
Conclusion - Considering generation of the processor is very important...
