I started with the same length chain and it's always two stitches off when I do the hearts. if I cant make the practice swatch right how on earth can I make it work for a larger blanket??

Silver Rose Parnell I'm just saying, watch what she's doing and you can pretty much figure it out. I'm new at this and even I knew what she was doing and meant.
The counts are off, you cant double crochet three times then go on the next row to make a single crochet in the second chain and the fill in the space bewteen the three double crochet it doesn't make a heart it makes a spot with a single crochet on the side of the dot I wasted an hour to find out I have to undo my colored trowel because there should be four double crochet not three to make the single crochet on the next row line up to make an actual heart.
