Thank you , your tutorial was very helpful. I have been making Jewelry for over 4 years now, I do it for relaxation & it provides me with gifts to give to family & friends. My 1st piece was a Tree of Life pendant that I made for my sister that I had done a simple weave with 3 base wires, it turned out great, except for the, it bail, could have been better. Anyways, I have wanting to learn how to do more interesting weave patterns. I really LIKE this Leaf Weave. AND I noticed that you were using your LEFT hand to do the weaving, not your right, SO you are a SOUTHPAW? I am

I'm starting to mess with wire wrapping, so you have been a great resource! Thank you! A question, what makes wire a weave wire?

I may be able to help answer you, however can you explain to me what you mean by your question?
A weave wire is any wire used to bind/keep your other (base) wires together (and is used to make decorative designs if you so choose). Gauge-wise, I typically use 28 (sometimes if I want the weave to visually be bigger, I'll use 26 ~ if I want a visually smaller weave, I'll use 30 (some people will even use up to 40, but I've personally never tried anything thinner than 30)).

I can't help but notice how you switch from wrapping front to back and back to front on the same "stitch" ~ does that result in less wire usage as opposed to keeping it front to back throughout?
I hope I made some semblance of sense there, haha. Regardless, this was a great video ~ thank you, T!!

I think it saves wire and also stops it from being too thick or bulky. Would love to hear an official response though

Do you have any suggestions on how to add more weaving wire if you run out in the middle of what you're doing? Thank you in advance for your answer

What type of wire do you suggest? And would round wire or more of a square wire be best to use?

How do you keep your base wires straight? My wires keep bending. Do you use a harder wire for the basewire?

I did it two times on 2 different wires. First one I was really happy with. Second one was bad. Just bought a lb of wire from Rio grande, half round 20 gauge copper wire and it's way too soft.

It's all very nice but please be slower. You are too quick! I have put this at it's lowest speed and then the editing cuts some things, I am learning and this is my first go. You must remember that you know how to do it but you are teaching it to someone else so you must show everything unedited as if you were a beginner too.
