That is a pretty special house he built! Everytime I thought he was done, he added something else. The rooftop deck is a great idea...even the doggie likes it!

Het is een mooie huisje plus terras in elkaar gezet gelukkig met af en toen een helpende hand maar toch prachtig gedaan een 10 plus er voor.🎉🎉🎉😊😊
Three things:
1. Gutters? Doesn't it rain in the area? If you use soft wood you don't want it to get wet.
2. Climate. Insulation and heating? Protection against heat?
3. Why have door and windows that opens inwards in such a small space?

What is the orange-red coating? Just stain?
I'd be more impressed if there was insulation, but it's definitely more livable than a tent even without it. Brackets for a ladder are okay if they have the proper #lbs rating.
The place is cute but it will have durability and maintenance issues. And where is the privy? If they had used water-safe finish metal roofing they could also harvest water...
I was waiting for someone to notice. I don't think this will last, unless he spends everyday fixing things that rot/warp/twist.

It's a lot of work for something that will need a lot of future maintenance soon.
Think a cob or strawbale house would make more sense. It's cheaper in many ways, though initially more work. A round shape would permit a faster build for cob or strawbale for overall square footage. Get a basic carport and build underneath. This way you can still do metal without a lot of fancy cuts. Alternatively a living roof would work and one could still harvest water, too. Just make sure you have adequate overhang to help protect the walls.
Probably a wood preservative.
The name of the orange red coating is varnish. It protects the tree for a long time and prevents it from worming and rotting.

Figured it was some type of insect repellant or something more compelling than just a wood finish of mild value...
All in 10 days ? Good job. So is this actually livable ? I guess so because of the large water tank, but I guess it can only be a summer cottage. Is the finish a stain + varnish combination ? Where's the toilet ?
he's not bad .... i say give him 1 or 2 years and he will become a great builder .... i won't point out his flaws but he will be a great builder one day

Why? I can bring my dog inside and 5 mins. later he's scratching the door wanting back out so he can do his job of guarding the property and livestock!

Это типа сторожевой будки охранника, с возможностью переночевать. Дом стоит посреди плантации, где то на средиземном побережье Турции, с около летнем круглогодичным климатом, если ты не заметил.

Es una casa sin ningùn aislamiento contra el frío. Supongo que sólo la vas a usar en verano. Es muy bonita pero poco útil
Immediately several big mistakes are seen. Wood is not separated from ground moisture, both poles and there's no separation from the basement. The wood will rot and will not serve long.
Then, most connections of wooden parts made with just applying one part to another, without proper connections, the stairway is just dangerous. Then, there are no supports to vertical poles within the walls.
Let alone it will be cold inside, this may fit some Viet Nam only, in Russia it will be cold inside even in summer nights.
Generally, an expensive toy to make one video.
One should read first, watch some videos how this all is made before building a house.

Why? I'm 73 and when I sold my 4500 sq foot home it was the greatest day of my life, no more high utilities and high property taxes!! I'm building a small cabin at present for my hunting property and it's only an 8X20 and there's plenty of room for just myself and its located in the middle of 250 acres.

Gutters? Rainwater cache? Like this! Add veranda around and make into four season room with sliding enclosures for glass/screen/shade?
Agree with others, kitchen/sink, shower plus composting toilet make more sense. Insulation during construction easy with thin ply glued on both sides insulation board. Yeah man, moisture barrier that ground to wood and foundation.
Fan cooling? Plumbing is going to be camping style/ portable. (Joolca-propane for kitchen and shower-suggestion.)

Not gonna live long out there with no water n bathroom...also those softer woods don't last too long and aren't as load bearing..for American style lol...but cool home depot shed sized shed though...I love the porch.. the 3rd tier though is awesome..bet hunting out there might be good..at night if you have nods..daytime might be acarce..where the heck is that looks desertish?...but the building was very well..I loved the pizza oven more on that please.

So how does one live in this home? It is missing everything to make it livable other than a roof and walls.
Huh...? You really think this person showed 'superior craftsmanship'? Understandable if you have no construction background...maybe. It's an extremely simply project to build with none of the other systems like plumbing, electrical, heating or cooling, even a sink or bathroom. Cute but not amazing.

Well, you did a really good job but my concern was it. You either had a basement or a seller that you could’ve turned it into another room. Like a storage room for Food extra items. That was a wasted space. Other than that you did a fantastic job. And that house could be for the homeless people and senior citizens that are struggling to pay their rent.
He's built on pretty level ground the only way for him to have a basement or cellar would be to dig it out which would be quite a choir, and in his country I kinda doubt he's gonna donate his house to the homeless and become homeless himself you think?

Douglas Fir is the overwhelming choice for building houses, not pine. Pine is good for other applications but not framing.
