- Today I evolved my humble villagers into unstoppable killing machines and it was a bunch of fun. This game is still very fun and way too easy to lose track of time and just play for hours on end. Still can't wait to play more!

"growing" apples get apple trees. "growing" berries gets berry bushes. Apples plus berries fruit salad. Great value, both in food AND money. If you have two soils, or a soil and rabbit for poop (which can be used as "single-user" soil) infinite food
A carrot can out grow them just put three farms or so and you have infinite supply of food
I sustained a population of 7 villagers on 4 farms spitting out carrots. Often I had to sell excess too.
@@endersblade I sustained 7 villagers and 10 babies on 3 berry and 3 apple farms. did not sell excess bcs I was making new homes and wanted a reserve.
I had 2 rabbits in an animal pen plus 1 farm. I used it as an infinite supply of apple trees.
Carrots for food, apples and especially berries for money (berries can also be combined with milk to make milkshakes for five coins)

Sideffects of an overdose on coffee
You can attack the Strange portal before the enemy's come out attacking it makes enemy's spawn less when they spawn

Also, you can pause the game and move everything so you don’t feel as overwhelmed.

Im kinda surprised he hasn't figured out the power of the almighty chicken empire yet, just build a pen and hatch eggs till you have 5 chickens stored and have infinite omelettes even late game with 8 humans having just two pens, 10 chickens, and 2/3 stoves keeps everyone fed and produces enough excess eggs to sell for massive gold
i love when i’m not paying attention to the time and df catches me off guard with a banger content.

Hey DF! couple things that might help get a coin chest if You have the idea for it :D just put it under the sell slot and all Your coins will go right into it it can hold 100 coins, and if You have the idea get the logging hut its like the quarry for trees :D

I just like when DF has fun and plays games he likes.
Feeding your village with no effort:
1> Build Animal Pen (or two for 10 or more villagers)
2> fill it with Chickens (breed more chickens if needed)
3> Place Stove (or Campfire if you don't have a stove) Near the Animal Pen
4> When first eggs appear, place them on Stove
As long as all of the eggs do not completely cook before the next eggs spawn in, the new eggs should drop on top of the existing ones (already on stove), creating an infinite supply of food that requires no effort to farm or cook.
If you find yourself with too many omelettes or eggs, just sell the extras

I’m beginning to recognize the different editing styles of Scarecrow and N8. It’s cute and I love them both
Personally I think carrots are the best food. Carrots grow into 2 carrots so they don't require using a villager to turn them into food, meaning you can use them on other stuff, and they have 2 food value

My good sir, you need ORDER to expand your providence, focus organizing stuff and slowly building out, if you have a production facility such as the lumber mill or quarry you should have someone on it at all times, of course you should have enough food production to keep the villagers fed but if you stop selling all of your stuff then you probably won't have to deal with searching for a single piece of wood for a year.
HINT: I noticed killing the wolf gave you a bone, yet you have no dog.
Few tips - Get Sheds as fast as you can. Like 5. Later Warehouses!
Get carrots and 3-5 gardens
Milkshakes are for sell, not for food.
Watching your vids is always a great way to make time go by! Keep it up!

I have to imagine that bones are somehow involved in getting a dog. Try giving a wolf a bone, and if that doesn't work try to combine bones with other things (villager takes bone to plain, returns with dog?)
It's just giving a bone to a wolf, it'll override combat too, so you don't have to worry about that
You give a wolf a bone to get a dog. it acts as a slower villager, but only takes one food.

If you want a super long run, just keep making people so you can actually fight then strange portals. Trust me, the portals get brutal.

Ive found that milita are way slower at tasks, especially when you have them exploring, than normal villagers. I would also advise to go for the fritters food supply which is a potato and egg on a cook fire. They are way better than milkshakes ans easier than nearly every else to make.
there is nothing easier than omeletts.

5 am, best time to watch the most recent video of DF
Just a little trick I use for the portals.
All of the enemies are focus on a single villager if you can find out which one ie have them all chase a single villager while picking them off the end of the line. Super handy later on I’m at day 70+ now and the encounters are cake this way. Also get 3 or so farms and farm either carrots or apples, I’m up to 130 food and 200+gold this way. Only thing I’m missing is that dang dog and the ??? quest.
DF needs to make their own coffee brand.

Yeah, I get them at 10 pm. It’s annoying during the school year but out of it the timing is almost perfect.

Pressing backspace on a card automatically turns it into coins too btw instead of dragging them to sell every time

A quarry is an infinite supply of stone. 3 wood + 1 stone makes a lumber camp which is an infinite supply of wood.

Seing him sell unprocessed wood instead of sticks/planks, but then consume processed food like milkshakes and fruit salads instead of selling them was painful. Also, spending 10 golds on boosters when looking for wood, instead of 3 for Humble Beginnings packs.
On the other hand, selling raw meat *is* a great idea. Cooking it doesn't increase its value, takes a ton of time, and results in food no better than a handful of berries.

the best startegy i use in this game for insane money is i make a lumberjack place (infinite wood) and have a second villaged make sticks . Sticks sell for 2 coins so jsut 10 wood = 10 sticks =20 coins. is extremly fast and efficent and also while one is making wood the other cna proritise somethinge sle then make the sticks.

Gotta automate the food process, so you have a surplus, animal pen full of chickens, omelettes. shed x10. Expand villagers quickly.
