@@Frrixy Classics levels are much more focused on play forming aswell which means more slow sections between the parts where you go really fast as opposed to Modern Sonic where you are constantly going the speed of sound boosting
It’s like Sega is saying, yeah, we know you love the original Unleashed version of this level. But look what we can do in Generations. Returning to this level gave me chills. It’s a feel good epic vibe of a level.
0:50 I remember playing this song on youtube on a nice sunny day with clouds in the sky and just daydreaming in the heavens. Such a soothing and stress relieving sensation. I fell in love with this song.
I think it's safe to say that this may be one of my favorite tracks in the entire game. Seriously, it's like Spagonia's throwing a massive party! Actually, considering that Sonic Generations was the big 20th Anniversary game for the franchise, I wouldn't be surprised if they were actually doing that.
There's a part of this level where you're in front of Spagonia university, and there's flags of Empire City, Chun-nan, Holoska, Mazuri, and a few other countries from the game. Nice Flashback.
This has to be my favorite city level of the entire game. The up beat atmosphere, the perfectly design level for classic Sonic, balloons, and the clock tower.

This song is incredible! I genuinely think this might be my number one favourite song in the entire Sonic series. It’s so energetic and awesome, but it feels epic too and has emotion behind it, it has a great melody and these incredible instruments that perfectly fit the stage’s European style, but they work really well with Sonic and especially generations. This game has some amazing remixes but my gosh this one is astronomically good, the Modern one is enjoyable and I like Unleashed’s version too but not as much. The best part is that epic bit about 0:50 seconds in where the tone shifts for a little bit before returning, and then near the end it changes again to a similar style before the ending. I really love this game, it takes me back to the glory days of Sonic, before I knew about all the bad games, and the way Sega mismanages the franchise, I just knew I had 5 great Sonic games, 1, 2, 3&K, SA1, and Generations, and the future looked so bright for the franchise. I didn’t even know Unleashed, SA2, or Heroes existed, so for those stages from those games I had a great time, experiencing them for the first time and thinking they were invented just for this game, and they were by far the most memorable to me, I replayed the entire game recently and I was looking forward to Rooftop Run the entire time.
