great majestic video! amazing bike! its my dream to build/fix bikes for people that ride them like you do safa, I want my customers to know they can rely on the masterpiece ive put together for them. the last thing you wanna be worried about during a ride is the bike you're riding. Ride safe everyone!
Nice build and a even nicer bike. Two questions that accrued me that seamed a interesting choice by the mechanic: why did he use grease on the Shimano BB, it’s press fit and Shimano states that it should be a dry install. Secondly the use of the aero tyre in the back, Conti states that it’s just designed for the front wheel.
I really like Scott bikes, got loads in the household, but man that press fit bb. Would have been good to hear a few more torque wrench clicks, its satisfying. Neat machine and build. Safa, enjoy!
Yeah I really like the look of Scott and BMC bikes but pressfit on carbon frames... Ughhh. I don't like Specialized except Crux and Aethos, and only really like the new Checkpoint for Trek (and I got Domane, it isn't perfect as they use weird problematic seatpost). Ritte Espirit and Enve bikes are my dream bikes but those are super niche brands.
Press fit is far more practical and advance - you can make bigger BB zone. It will make bike much stiffer, shorten chainstay and allow bigger tires. If your press fit BB is creaking then it's a manufacturer's fault not a standard. Just get a plastic BB and use some thick grease - it will most likely adapt to unevenness of the shell.
@BadHotPotato I'd say T47 is pretty big enough. It's what Trek uses after their failed PF30. 386 Evo seems to be decent for PF though. Thread together BB seems like the next best solution and that's what 3T uses for their bikes as they never got QA right.
@@drill_fiend1097 T47 still means bearing cups outside and less of BB shell. Good for MTB but worse for road and gravel. Thread together BBs are expensive for some reason, requires another set of special tools and as far as I know always aluminium. Also the tooth profile is so shallow it's actually dangerous so I'm not fully convinced but actually wanna try Wheels mfg Thread together BB one day. Maybe it's not that bad.
@@marklohnes6313It’s one of those cases of this is how I was shown in the 90s and have done since. But with three road bikes I’ll definitely try it next opportunity 🤞🏻👍🏻
Means you don't use any electrical tape so it's a really clean look. Never had any issues with the bar tape curling and I've been riding it this way for over a year on the Foil...
@@ccuellar6212 it would also break significantly worse :D I think for someone like SAFA the braking is essential and disc is definitely the way to go for fast descents
My first thought when he fitted the frame to the post: where’s the torque wrench?!? An Allen key from the back pocket? I don’t care if it is ‘just to set it up’, with a bike this light and technical, torque settings must be noted.
I can understand integrated handles as this is a race bike. Aethos is probably a better bike for you though since it has external cabling on handles and mostly standard components.
Thanks for weighing it with pedals!
one of the most beautiful bikes I've ever seen
Can we take a moment to appreciate that it probably took longer to stage the build than complete it? Lovely video.
After watching cycling videos I bought my first road bike 😁🚴
It happened to me also 😅
Enjoy your trip

Hope you get a simple one, so mechanicall issues doesn't turn you off

❤👌 great job!
This is my dream work...building awesome bikes.
I wish I had a spacious garage like that studio. Bike looks a hoot to ride.
Hell yeah brother!

Phenomenal bike build! ❤
21:40 she purrs like a "Poodytat" ❤🎉
Mon futur vélo 😉 vivement l’avoir entre les mains 👍
6,24kg size L - no bottle cages & computer mount so around 6,30kg

Looking forward to a review video on the new addict.
I’m planning on buying a full build just like the one in the video
I will get to that in the new year but can tell you it is a fantastic ride. Great handling and more aero than it looks.
Im bricked up
6.24kg...this is nuts❤
süßes Rädchen!
Крутая пушка ! 😌👍💪💪✌️🇧🇾🇧🇾
What's I'm surprised the most is how easily he put the continental tires.
SAfa Brian post, my meal now even more delicious!
Bro is upping the game day by day 🫠
13:01 Yeah! that can be scary LOL 😂
beautiful ❤
Thank you! 😊
Next level. Safa Inc.
Nice looking bike
Beau~~~tiful!
I really like watching your videos but I don't have a road bike and I'm also from Indonesia😊
Nice video on a very nice bike . Putting the bar tape on from the stem toward the drops🤯, I’ll give that a try next time I’m installing bar tape.
I have wrapped my bars like this for 30 years. No tape needed…can’t understand why it’s considered backwards!?
@@marklohnes6313It’s one of those cases of this is how I was shown in the 90s and have done since. But with three road bikes I’ll definitely try it next opportunity 🤞🏻👍🏻
That's an interesting bar tape wrapping method - going backwards from the tops to the hooks.
Yeah, expect the edges to start curling up. Not functional atmo.
Means you don't use any electrical tape so it's a really clean look.
Never had any issues with the bar tape curling and I've been riding it this way for over a year on the Foil...
I wanna get me one now.
When is the ride review coming?
Crazy to think this is 400g lighter than my 2020 Addict RC 15
🙃
Pogacar would win the tour on your addict ;) its all about the rider :D
Nice weight.
Could be even better if it had some sweet rim brakes.

6.24 kg😬🔥
軽スギィ!!!!
Bottle cages?
Addict rc pro not going with capital sl... How you get it ?
You forgot to swear when mounting the tires! 12:06
😂 Was actually pretty easy

They seem to be using a torque wrench for high torque parts like crank. I've seen a bunch of mechanics who never use wrenches for low torque ones.
It's 6nm, no need to torque it anywhere near that before you sit on it.
Ah I see they went with the (reversed) tapir color scheme
If your Tapir is blue get it to the vet!
Surprised to see its not SRAM… welcome to the awesome world of Dura Ace
He was already using Dura Ace
Are both groups the same weight?

Making love to a bicycle💖.
giving me bike dysmorphia 😩
Nice build! I have only one question: where is the mandatory bottom bracket spin? 😅
Good question!
🥱🥱🥱🥱🥱
Pure bike porn, love it!!!!
@Hambini what say you?
🤢
High quality low weight high speed high cost😂😂
nice endurance 🤣
Can I take it by 8000 USD?
Its like a 14k bike tf lol
It retails for 9k in the US. Doesn't come with those wheels tho.

LoL ... just humoring you; great bike, awesome channel, adventures, and cycling footage ...
and then he ruins it with the backwardass bar tape wrapping...
Basic design, not the best looking on the line-up ... SAFA need a custom paint.
Most I've spoken to think this is the best paint in the lineup... Each to their own. Thanks for your insight
Integrated handlebars, internal cables, disc brakes…what a pain.
Looks freakin sexy though
You are still stuck in the past…
I can understand integrated handles as this is a race bike. Aethos is probably a better bike for you though since it has external cabling on handles and mostly standard components.
Why will I spend a lot of money on a bike and not have a fully integrated setup? It’s the future. Clean setups are here to stay.
음 이번 모델은 그닥..
