How Tyler Reddick Proved the Haters Wrong

- Tyler Reddick is currently one of the hottest young drivers in the NASCAR Cup Series. In middle of the road RCR equipment he has shown a great deal of talent. But before this he had to overcome the assumptions and criticism of NASCAR’s fans for the performance he had in his first Xfinity championship season in 2018. So entering 2019 he had a chip on his shoulder and a mission set in his mind. This is how Tyler Reddick proved the haters wrong.

“For the 5th time in the last 3 races.” - that’s some insane consistency 😂

Me in 2018: "Eh, I don't know. I don't think Reddick deserved this year's championship. He wasn't amazing."
Me in 2019: *"Now that's more like it!"*
Reddick really has impressed in the last 2 years and I really think he's gonna be a bigger threat for wins in 2021.
I bet both RCR teams make the playoffs next year
He definitely has.
I've honestly never seen a Tyler Reddick hater, that's how good he is now

@@bennyparsons1435 thats cause hes kamikaze

@@bennyparsons1435 He hates everyone.
Except Tails
I want to see how Tyler Reddick can do in elite equipment. I mean Kevin Harvick had 13 SEASONS in a B team. If Tyler can do the same, I could see Tyler dominate the 2030's. He has the talent.
RCR is getting better by the year, so he and Dillon could be in for a break out year in 2021
I'm from 2027 hes a nascar champion
He's going to be the Lewis Hamilton of NASCAR.
Tyler might explode soon. 2021 has RCR and Hendrick's alliance coming in.
Yes, son
I was expecting him to win this year, actually. Now that you bring up that alliance, winning is definitely within reach. Don't think he'll reach a godlike status in the same vein as Earnhardt or Harvick, but I'm convinced he's the real deal and will lead a very successful Cup career. Man is also my current fave alongside Dibenedetto in terms of current drivers (would mention Larson but this depends on if he gets a seat for 2021, crossing fingers that he does get the 88 or whatever it may be renumbered to).
Tyler Reddick will be a machine

I really had faith that Tyler Reddick could possibly get a win in the Cup Series as a rookie this year. But I'll have to admit, he came a long way to where he is now!!!
I used to not like him but after his performances this year i gained a lot of respect for him
5:23 For the 5th time in the last 3 races its gonna be the 2 car in victory lane...
6:50 KamikazeGames thought he didn't deserve it because he's driving for RCR
That manchild’s opinions are irrelevant
he don't do research and makes stupid opinions

The FLIGHTREACTS OF NASCAR.
I used to think the Xfinity series was a joke and then when i started watching it its now my favorite series
Chase Briscoe and Tyler Reddick are similar
Both ran for Brad Keselowski Racing
Both had 1 win in 1st season
Both had 5 or more wins 2nd Xfinity season
Tyler Reddick may not have gotten ROTY But I will say his rookie season has been a success
he realistically should have won ir
He would be without Cole Custer's surprise victory, but oh well. Still a great debut.
How good is Kaz Grala? Very limited seat time and has far exceeded my expectations this year.
Meh, Snider and Alfredo both have been better.
yeah, he proved me wrong. However, he is not the real 2018 champion. However, he is the real 2019 champion! Also having Reddick in RCR's Cup team has been the best thing for RCR in a long time. So far, he is doing good in his rookie year. Let's see how he does in his sophomore year in the 8!
Without the playoffs, the "true" 2018 Xfinity Champion would be...Daniel Hemric. Lol
@@mtchcrtrmm9299 for a winless driver, that’s consistency ;) lol
He did the Austin Dillon 2013. Ironically, in RCR as well lol
@@IanTheMotorsportsMan_YT Tyler Reddick was my 2nd favorite Xfinity Series driver last year. Now, he's my 5th favorite driver in the Cup Series
@@kjprodouctions9050 awesome!
@@IanTheMotorsportsMan_YT Yeah. He really impressed me in 2018. I only wanted him to win the championship that year so Junior Motorsports would win. I wanted Sadler to win the championship, but he was eliminated in round 2
For the fifth time in the last three races
Ahhh I love the broadcasters we have right now
THATS MY BOI!!! Tyler is a beast behind the wheel
I feel like the start to Reddick's career is similar to Larson where he does really well in subpar equipment
Tyler brought a winning mentality that was non-existent in RCR's cup teams, I think if it was Hemric in the 8 car again Austin wouldn't have won Texas. Now both teams expect to win and I think he was the push they needed
He surly is on the verge of greatness!
I remember Tyler driving that late model with that shaggy hair.
Austin Dillon has way more haters than Reddick, yet he made the round of 12. And nobody seems to care......
People give Austin Dillon shit mostly because I don't recall if he did much besides 2 wins (even though they were a Coke 600 and Daytona 500) combined with him being Childress' grandson, hence the "silver spoon", but I think maybe he's finally got the act together in 2020. Or maybe it's more just RCR, in general, actually being decent this year compared to their absolute shitshow season of 2019.
Willing to be we'll see the same thing happen with Cindric when he gets promoted to Cup.
@@ArbitraryOutcome Dillon has even outperforms Daniel Hemric in 2019, won a race before Reddick this year, made the playoffs when Reddick couldn't but nobody acknowledges it. Austin Dillon has talent
AD's the most underrated driver in Cup.
@Michael Byers REEEE! A driver who's won at every level doesn't deserve to be in NASCAR because I'm mad at him for using the number of my favorite driver! REEEE!
@Michael Byers 7 seasons. Its RCR equipment. He's made the playoffs 4 of the last 5 years
The Chronicles of Reddick.
5:23 "For the fifth time in the last three race its gonna be the 2 car in victory lane.. Tyler Rdddick does it at Michigan" - Adam Alexander
which is physically impossible by the way...
If i ran NASCAR in 2019 i would make custer, bell, and reddick a champion
I love Reddick!
I hope he can do well with either this equipment in RCR or maybe going to a better team. I don't want him to be the secondary car for RCR, I want him to shine.
He is my pick to win this week in Texas after all. 2nd time the #8 wins for the first time in Texas hopefully
Anyone else hear the part where the announcer said he won 5 times in the last 3 races?
8 car baby RUN IT!!!
Future Cup Champion.
I'm pulling for the kid. Love seeing the #8 back on the track. Plus, he has some talent.
The question is when we he win at cup?
Missing Rings: Tyler Reddick, 2015
I've always been a fan of his and he rightfully deserves his two xfinity titles especially his 2018 title. He earned them and earned a cup ride and should've been rookie of the year this year cause he's been better than custer and the rest all year custer only got it cause he won one race 🙄 (I don't hate custer btw I just think it's absurd) he's certainly got a bright future ahead of him and I think he will win some races in the near future too👌
Been a Tyler Reddick fan since he was kicking Scott Bloomquists ass at East Bay Raceway !
Ya never know! He might get a win a Texas! Runner up last time. Once he gets upfront he can be competitive!!!
... or he wrecks the field idk
The most promising rookie since Chase Elliott
How good really was Elliott Sadler?
Cup: mediocre
Xfinity: great
He can drive wheels off a Car!
He's got to be first or second in terms of Cup drivers without a win yet. An improving Austin Dillon and now Erik Jones in the ladder means RCR has some serious talent in their lineups, they just need a few more years of experience. Fully expect Reddick to get win #1 in 2021, I will be shocked if he doesn't
I REALLY HATE TO ADMIT IT, but he is actually talented.
I still think he should be rookie of the year
That one dislike was KamikazeGames
The people hating on Tyler should've been hating on NASCAR for their shit format. He earned it the next year and has proven he can run well now, so it's glad to see all that is behind him.
How good was Clint Bowyer?
I think Tyler Reddick should stay in the 8 car for the 2021 season, and depending on how good he does, (which I assume he’ll do good) I think he should be moved up to a better team.
I feel like if he doesn't keep making moves like he did in the 2nd Daytona race this year (where he wrecked a bunch of drivers by blocking), he could be a really good driver.
Reddick wins the Xfinity championship by only winning 2 races, and people didn't like that, but Matt Crafton wins the Truck series championship with no wins, and everyone says he exposed the system.
Missing rings: Jeremy mayfield 2004 or 05?
Chase brisco is on fire right now
Can we all get an F in the chat for BKM. F

For the 5th time in the last 3 races
Reddick has the same problem as all the rest of the young guys: all the veterans that have been around for a long time, namely Harvick, Kurt, Kyle, Denny, Truex, Logano and Keselowski, and to a lesser extent Johnson. if not for these seven, i think the Cup series would be wide open, and a lot more drivers would win races. granted, someone like Elliott has already established himself as being able to compete with these veterans on a regular basis, but i feel like the young guys would thrive in an environment that didn't have them
24 top 5s mind.....think he had like 27/28 top 10s those are crazy numbers !!!
I think Tuler Reddick will get alot of wins and championships in cup, Maybe he will get 3 championships and 50 career wins in cup
I dont mind him. At least he's not like Austin Dillion and walks around like his shit dont stink. Cool video
I personally like Reddick. Nice guy. The one issue is he is kinda bad at superspeedway racing. He has screwed Kyle Busch twice. I know you guys don’t like Busch but you have to admit it, those wrecks were Reddick’s fault.
39 seconds!!!!!
Cool, I was just stating how early I was
I Find It Ironic That He Won His First Out Of 2 Xfinity Series Championships Driving For Dale Earnhardt Jr 20 Years After Jr Won His First Out Of 2
I think in 2019 he would of won without the playoffs also
Correct
How good really is William Byron?
Already did a video
Now that he is in a tyota it will go good
He’s only gonna get better watch out
I mean why the hate? If the points format said a win granted you a position in playoffs, why would you trying hard to win a race in regular season?
If he was going for rockie I’d the year maybe should’ve stayed in one more year in xfinity
If the Hendrick and rcr alliance does good for the teams Reddicks carrer will sky rocket
He will races
And I thought he would finish 25th in points this year...
I hope he is at least as good as I was.
No daytona cup footage
How good is Austin Dillon really?
Let's say 15 career wins I think he's could enough to get that but unfortunately if doesn't live rcr like Harvick I don't he will get more than that he leaves rcr and 30 wins and a championship aren't out of the question
I am a bit disappointed with his 1st year in cup. I expected I’m to do a bit better than he has. I get how competition is tight and there is a learning curve, but seems to have bad luck early in the races that takes him out of contention
He also eats cwosants
How good was Brendan Gaughan? If you haven’t done that
i say he wins 1 or 3 champions
Send this video to kamikaze games who still thinks he’s talentless
My boy Cole got screwed two years in a row 😥
Lol
What’s the big deal with Kyle Larson ? They were hyping him up so much and he really did nothing special no do I expect him to
He was loathed cuz he junked everything that didn't junk him first.
That’s not true at all
@@bigboylife5463 go look at his BKR and JRM days lol

The last thing a person should do during the upcoming New World Order/7 Year Tribulation is take the Mark of the Beast. As long as one doesn’t take the Mark of the Beast and/or still draws breath, never too late to become saved by believing(more than just acknowledging his existence)in Jesus Christ and what he did on the Cross for your sins.
Did you know that he got kicked out of bkr/Penske because of a failed drug test?
That’s not true at all... he’s never failed a drug test. He left BKR because his contract was up and CGR offered him a part time gig to get him into the Xfinity series.
Yeah Tyler didn't deserve his first title, But so did Kyle Busch 2015,I mean who breaks their leg, misses races and ends up winning A championship. BS
