Pigs have a sweet tooth and MOLASSES is their favorite. Some of my hog farmers use it to help their baby pigs nurse. (Like smear it on the sow's nipple. It really works!
Something you might want to try for hog bait. Here in FL, we soak cracked corn for a few days in water to ferment. Then spread it out. Sour mash for hogs.
That boar hog reminds me of one my granddaddy had when I was a little girl (53, 54 yrs ago). My granddaddy would slop the hogs and then go sit by the tree for a while. Me as a Granddaddy's baby, I wanted to be in there with him at times. When i asked to come in, he would tell me, "Step over the electric fence (it was off) and run"! I did. Most times he would leave me alone but one time, that I remember very well, I stepped over the fence, started running and he came after me. I remember this like it was yesterday. It seemed like one swooping action but I know wasn't, my Granddaddy gave me arm, threw me behind him and hit that boar hog between the eyes with a tree limb or 2x4 or something like that. He laid him out. That boar stopped dead and didn't take another step and hit the ground. I thought my granddaddy killed him but he didn't. That boar never ran after me again. I can close my eyes and can still hear the crack sound it made hitting that hogs skull. I don't know if it was the wood or his skull, but something cracked! 🥴🥴🥴🤣🤣🤣 He staggered for a minute or so before going back to eating. Thought you might like my little story about one my experiences with a boar hog!

He thought it was funny until I jumped him and we bet the crap out of each other. He had a black eye for a while, after I welled on him! I don't like killing snakes. I love all animals. Had a lot of different species!

Thanks Guys I have an idea for a taller Mast. we use them for HAM Radio. Chain link fence top rail, there 10-1/2 feet tall. just drive a 3 foot form stake 2 feet in the ground and drop the pipe over the top.

Amateur radio person here, if you could juuuuust get that antenna at the very top of that post, just 6" more up, it would help a lot at those frequencies. Grounded metal (or any metal), that post, right next to the side of the antenna is a big no-no. Cheers.

One got too full & fell off the hanger. We weren't aware. So I had let my Beagle out and went to let him in. He ran past me when I opened the door & this smell hit me! He then ran past my husband and said "WTHeck is that smell!" I was laughing so hard all I could say was "it's the dog catch him! After a bath of us gagging to get him clean, we found out he rolled in the bag that fell! 😝😝😄🐶❤ You never smell this walking past the bags when they are hanging, thank goodness!
Those boys are to cute! That stinky cheese would be a good wake up for kids that are slow to get up 🤣🤣 I gotta say I'm in love with that trap & may invest in one!
