Daniel, I commend you and DeJay for going to speak at the local school on your careers. I use to be a secretary at the local County, a licensed practical nurse, then a teacher. My mother raised me to NOT attend college because she felt I wasn’t college material, plus my parents were unable to afford sending us to school. I paid my own way to college and did not want to sit behind a desk all day as a secretary. So, teaching the kids the various means of a career is necessary and very important. Thank you for doing this.💕🥰🙏🏻🙋🏼‍♀️

I did NOT want to go to college. But I wanted to be a physician (a surgeon). Suffice to say, I went on to become a surgeon. But, I really didn't enjoy college. Due to, going to good schools (Boston U and Cornell U) things are so competitive. I did really enjoy residency,...not the long hours. Currently, work at Vanderbilt U, Medical Center. And love it, but still quite long hours.

Chad/Adler Farms made a great point re deer hunting: it helps control a pest, saves lives when they jump in front of traffic, never thought of it that way, we don't have that problem here as much in Ireland 🇮🇪☘️it's a lesson to see what you all have to put up with on your farms, the destruction the hogs make etc. Keep doing what you do,God bless you and your family ❤️🇮🇪☘️

We are isolated to a point, partly because of the C word and partly because of health issues. I have gotten my grown children interested in homesteading. I was raised on a farm and live in the city now. Something very soothing about homesteading videos and a chance to visit other families. Love all you girls and guys. Appreciate the time and effort you all put into you vlogs. A big thanks and hugs to you all.

Absolutely agree 💯!! I myself am an avid outdoorsman I hunt, I fish, I camp, I also have farm animals including donkey goats chickens cows one of which I will be butchering this year around the first week in December depending on a few things but I also butcher some of the other things on the farm along with hunting deer and wild pig's I also go out west every other year and hunt Elk sheep pronghorns and if I get lucky enough to draw a tag for moose I will hunt them also!! Anyway I don't understand these people that say stuff against hunting any type of hunting whether you have livestock or whatnot or you don't I mean how do you think the meat got to the grocery store?? It may not be "hunted" but none the less it was killed and probably in a less humane way than a person that kills wildlife for the freezer has done!! When asked that they have nothing to say in response!! They just want to run their alligator and make people feel bad for putting food on the table for a lot less $$ than buying it at the grocery stores!! Anyway enough with this rant thank you for not only letting me rant but for making amazing videos and showing your kids how to hunt and fish so that they can live off the land if need be!! Keep the awesome content coming!! Hopefully you and the kids bag deer this season!!

Eric Hill I don't understand either. I don't like the wild, gamey smell and taste of wild animals. My son hunts and fishes and supplements their yearly grocery bill. He has two daughters and a son who also hunts. They eat everything they hunt. His wife is very creative in creating recipes for the family. I see nothing wrong with hunting and fishing as long as you are eating what you kill rather than trophy hunting. My husband used to hunt deer and donate the meat to a soup kitchen.

It was fun to work with the students and see their reactions when they see how much money a plumber or electrician can make compared to someone who has a 4,6 or 8 year degree. Great video Ty, 💯 % agree! You have never hidden the fact that you have a farm and you hunt and you fish. Apparently someone was not much of a subscriber because they would see all your videos hunting hogs deer, turk etc etc with the kids. And those are some beautiful videos you share. And I am proud of you Daniel and DeeJ your videos, Family Life, goat, donkey, farm life and all the wonderful hunting videos and most of all that you are two incredibly beautiful people inside and out.
You are beautiful people! That share your family life your farm life etc with all of us. I also want to mention one more thing that little boy, that little Houston is one of the most loving kind-hearted human that boy is so genuine in his heart and he's growing up to be a great man. He loves his mama and daddy and siblings you talk about love that kid bleeds love, his heart is so pure whether it's showing it to his siblings his mom his dad, animals you will never see more love in anyone's heart. Furthermore how many videos of him, Oh Lord! How he makes you cry in a second. If you want to see something so beautiful go to the video s about Houston when he's Younger. when he wants to do nothing but hang out with his dad. When he cries that his heart is hurting and he can't go to school just because he loves being in his dad's shadow. That kid is made out of pure love for all life and a perfect example to teach all of us adults how to reach further in our hearts. He has grown up, he's got to be the boy, the teenager, the man up in the woods, lakes, mountains in the farmlands taking care of his animals taking care of himself and learn how to provide and take care of his future family. What do you think this boy who loves his dad so much is going to say when he sees an animal? He's going to say anything to fit into the heart of his dad, to make his dad proud of him as much as he love s and is so proud to have Daniel as his dad. That my friend is the very reason Houston spoke up. That kid has more brains than all the rest of us put together. He is still the most beautiful innocence of God's creation, in all his light and love. The rest of us have been tainted so we don't always recognize something so beautiful in other people's hearts. Above all this is a farm not, a ZOO! If the person who made that comment eats meat, I don't get the tears. If they are vegan, NAMASTE, brother sister! The word Namaste, is basically "the sacred in me recognizes the sacred in you". That is a big deal! To love and be in the respect of all people, it does it not mean to judge them it means to embrace, "all".
I don't care what anyone's beliefs are of life, but I do respect them. I respect being invited to all people's homes whether it's an animal barbecue or just sharing a carrot out of the garden. To say you will unsubscribe is the dumbest thing I ever heard! Because then you cheat yourself out of a lot of knowledge; that is so rarely seen in life about family respect and love. Obviously you subscribed to their channel s with love respect and admiration. This which means you yourself have a joyous heart. There's no need to lose yourself in differences, we are all one. Embrace yourself with the love in your heart and embrace this beautiful family who is simply perfect in who they are. Daniel and Deej are 2 people with a lot of love in their hearts.
So again "Namaste" brother, sister .
"I bow to the divine in you".
"the sacred in me recognizes the sacred in you". Raise your heart with that strength and powerful, courageous, beauty and allow
" Love" to be the Greatest! Miracle in the World, Universe, to exist.
Be a teacher that is a lover of life!
This touches all practices of spiritual belief.
Be eyes you want to be seen with,
The ears to hear the words spoken or not of all that is you.
The mind in the highest good,
The voice that raises joy happiness inspiration and pure love touching people's lives just as you would want joy happiness inspiration and love touching you.
Be the same love to all, as the love you want to receive. ✌️🙏❤️🕯️🤟❤️❤️❤️🤗🤗🤗🤗🌻😊
    With that said, simply love

Daniel, I know you have an idea of what you want that porch area to eventually look like, but I think it would be pretty awesome if you could have sort of a Japanese hibachi grill type of setup. Not traditional Japanese but somehow tie in the pond and have seating around the grill. That flat concrete retaining wall just looks out of place next to the natural stone pond. It would be nice to have the natural stone come over and cover that wall. Maybe something close to an infinity pool or like a faux waterfall that looks like it could flow over the wall but never actually would. Just throwing out some ideas.

It’s obvious some decisions will and have to be critiziced. If I just took a knife and went out to stab some people that would and should be judged and critiziced (and they should hang me if I got to kill someone).
I’m not saying that hunting deer as an “entertaining” way to get some extra meat should be critiziced, but bad decisions, specially those that harm other people or cause severe and unnecessary pain in other beings, should and probably will be critiziced.

Hunting has fed peoples from the Stone Age and continues to feed the Native Americans and our pioneers. Even now it is another sport like football, golf, soccer, but different that it’s a way to have wonderful, tender grain fed meat to eat as venison, bison, and some beef. Hunters have the states approval and guidelines to follow as other sports, if they don’t abide they get fined. If it is not your chosen sport, why criticize others who enjoy the sport. If you choose NOT to eat meat, great it’s your choice. Let us be kind, considerate of others choices, and KEEP THE PEACE AMONG US! 🦬🐂🐑🐖🐐🦃🐿🐇🐓🦆 🤲🏿🥷🏻

Arn… your critical thoughts do not even connect or make any sense. “Killing” a person does not connect with hunting a legal deer for meat. AND it is Daniels family decision, legally done and chosen…. Not yours to complain or criticized!

@@virginiacurrey2019 Im not saying it does. But the guy above said he doesn’t understand why “any decisions” are judjed, which is very different from not understanding the specific decision judjed in this video being judjed.

@@virginiacurrey2019 in fact I even specified “I’m not saying hunting deer as a “somewhat entertaining” way to get some extra meat should be critizised”.
So if you just take 30 seconds to read the whole thing instead of just the first paragraph you might get a whole different meaning out of it.

you could turn that retaining wall into stone. Just slap some split fieldstone or different stone with some cement/mortar to set it on the wall. It would look pretty. To cut down on the size of the roof extension you could always buy a pergola to cover a seating area to save money (should all be going on sale now) Yeah i used to think they were ugly but now some designs are really nice and you can control the shading.
