It scared me when he dove in that little creek. Daniel is a wise Dad and Houston seems to really respect his Dad when tells him not to do something and why. Houston please take your Dad's advice seriously. If you dive in one day not realizing the creek is lower than normal you could seriously hurt your neck and injure your spine. We love y'all so much and want you to have fun but please stay safe!!!
Gotta be careful when diving headfirst into creeks, streams and rivers !! Please exercise caution. You never know what COULD be there and you don't need anyone getting hurt !!
That little tortoise trying to keep the bigger one from eating is so cute! Jacobi looks like a REAL baseball player standing in the on deck circle watching Houston's AB - good job boys at making regionals.
Jacoby has grown! The creek looks refreshing! Daniel, I appreciate how you are able to keep the kids safe, keep your animals safe and make your wife blush. This was fun to watch!
Bella is such a lifeguarding dog 😂 she has no fear jumping when it comes to those boys what a awesome girl. Sometimes it's scary to watch her run in that heat I know it's what she does and she's always outside but she is a lab she knows her limits. She loves her boys ❤
I love how Bella jumps right in after the boys. I'm always nervous when I see kids diving in areas that you can't see the bottom. I know y'all swim in there all the time & know the water though.
Daniel just wanted to say it makes my heart smile watching you being a Great Dad and giving to all the boys. Your a Good Christian Man, a Brother LEO and a awesome Dad and family man.
I agree that look like total refreshing and so much fun what a nice swimming hole y'all have and the water falls thoroughly amazing. I love watching Kobe and Houston have fun together such good friends.
What a lifetime memory you make for your boys there 💗🌸 I’m so glad you asked him to not dive. Had a friend that dove in the deep end in another friends pool after a baseball game, he was a very good swimmer and diver (on a jr team), clipped his head and forever a paraplegic, at the age of 14. He passed away in his 40’s. It also changed who he was to someone we didn’t know on top of it.
Rolling blackouts are not new here , CALIFORNIA..plus we lose power for days sometimes when lines are compromised, that looks like a great generator, but we but all can't afford that. I've learned a trick or two over the years. Your freezers don't work as hard if they are full. I fill every empty bottle that comes my way with clean water and freeze it. If there are spaces available in the refrigerator I take out frozen bottles and tuck them in. It makes ice cold milk! Lol! I just add more bottles in the freezers and rotate. I'm sure I'm not the first to think of this, but for those who haven't, here you go! You can also freeze soaked towels for when your AC is out!
GOD BLESS and may HE bless you and so many others with HIS HEAVENLY RAIN which will also bring you relief from the heat and revive your pastures and lawn. Truly GOD BLESS for all that need HIS BLESSINGS.
Something you might want to consider is a food freeze dryer. Harvest right has them in different sizes. No I do not work for them. I have one. Bit pricey, but I got rid of 3 freezers. Still have a small 5 cf freezer, but the 14 or 2 18 cf freezers are gone. You can freeze dry anything, including ice cream. Store in mylar bags w/ air absorbers and stays good for 10-25 yrs.
Good evening Arms Family! The ducks and goose need a step up to that new tub, maybe one of those extra rocks from the pond build? Jerry is rough on those girls, my goodness, no wonder they are limping! Baseball and creek life, these boys are having a great childhood. Hugs from N.C..❤️🎉

Yes, I agree with with the pond for the ducks and goose. Make sure you put a liner in it though. You won't have to empty the troughs as often. I felt refreshed watching y'all in the creek. Missing Rufus as well 😢.

I understand about keeping animals cool. Our chickens like to keep their water containers dirty. I cleaned a bit today and added some ice water and they seemed to appreciate it. My husband accused me of spoiling those chicks but after he saw them drink the cool water, he stopped laughing. Bless his heart. It's hot here in Alabama too.
If I could have chickens I'd probably be wrapped around their little wings too. Unfortunately my cats won't let me get any. Something about being in a one bedroom apartment. But Google keeps trying to sell me chicken waterers & million dollar tractors. So that means I can have them right? Plus I don't think the cats want to share the attention. Or the cat food. Especially canned. I just got home & it was immediately expected that I'd open a can of food for them. Yeah I used to only give my cats canned as a treat or when they were elderly. I blame the tiny long-haired calico Harlequin. She's trained me well. She's just too damn cute when she pulls out to big kitten eyes & please for me to feed me kitten cries. Before trying to climb my pants. Pants climbing is adorable at 8oz. It's hilarious when your 8lb cat pantses you. Still I've had them since they were born literally 6 feet away. I'd give my dog when I still had him ice water too. But he mostly stayed inside because he was lazy, half cat & prone to overheating. I'd definitely be giving outdoor animals shade fresh water & ice in their water. Might even get one of those trays of giant ice cubes that are for cocktails. Might last outside for a bit longer.
I am a 73 year old great grandmother and I don’t remember in my lifetime of it being this hot but I do remember when the winters were much colder then now. God bless your family and hope you get some cooler temperatures it is very hot here in western North Carolina
The irony of the ecoflow max ad. I was just watching a random UA-cam channel I'd never watched before today, based in Europe that a guy was using it to generate electricity in a convent he just bought. That little machine is very impressive.
If you place part of a cattle panel over the top of that "bathtub" it will keep the ducks out and the donkeys, calf, etc will be able to drink thru the squares!
My favorite post so far! Congrats to Jacobi & Houston for making regionals! Loved seeing Houston's turtles! So happy that Jerry settled down. You guys were cute when you nuzzled DeJay's neck. I would be in your creek all day to avoid our miserable Oklahoma heat. May God continue to bless your precious Arms family. 💙
My neighbor thought I had the smartest horse! He raised alfalfa hay and watered it with the long line of tall sprinklers. The sprinkler spun around at the ends so they watered over our fence. It was very nice of them. Anyway, my mare would back up towards the fence until the sprinkler got her just right, then she would stand there until thoroughly wet down, then she would roll in the dirt. Cooled her down and helped with the flys. She was a hoot anyway. She would stick her head into the water trough, and blow bubbles! Never a dull moment on the farm!!
When I was a child, my great grandfather had a windmill which pumped water high up to a water tank. Water flowed out of the tank as needed to provide water for his animals. For home use there was a pitcher pump and a well on the back porch.
Y'all playing in the creek brings back so many memories! Growing up in Virginia where the creeks are spring fed and VERY cold and clear. Greatest place to be on a hot summer day.
Daniel, If you bury the trough so that the top is just above the ground so it looks like a pond in your pasture the ducks will use it as they will think it is like the turtle tub.
I was worried about Bella running so hard in the heat. But it was so neat to see her playing in the water. Especially when she jumped off the wall with Houston. The water looked so refreshing.
Freezers. Ok, extended black outs: dont open them if possible. Well stocked freezers will remain cold due to all the frozen stuff in them. Opening the door lets in warm air, which is bad. So..1 day is really no problem. Still worried? Wrap a freezer with insulation. Do not disturb.
Been in Oklahoma heat over 100 degrees. Prayers for a break in the weather. Great ball players enjoyed watching Love seeing all the animals Swimming jumping in was wonderful Thanks. God bless
I just love it when Bella jumps in also after yal!! Then she goes to Jacobi after he jumps to make sure he is ok too!! Great dog friend!! From Montgomery al 🙏 ❤️
Houston, your team did so well this year. You all should be proud of yourselves. I can't imagine how you all manage with such heat. Please stay safe and well. Bless you all.

I live in Arizona and was an umpire for over 15 years, even in the heat of the day we played ball. The Temps here get up to 120 and that's in the shade, so I know what those 2 boys went through. They have heart to keep playing in the heat. I miss umpiring I'm in my 60s now. Good luck next year boys. Stay safe and God bless.
You have a wonderful family. So nice to see God and family first in these days. So nice to see you all invested into your children. Enjoy it, they grow up fast and then Mom and Dad aren’t top priority. I love to see you build that pond for your son. He will always remember that, long after you are gone. I really like watching your and your wife’s channel. So nice to see God loving family in these days. God Bless and I’ll keep watching.
Working hard to keep everyone cool in this heat is important! I like how you have a backup plan for any rolling blackouts that may happen. Up here in east Idaho we have about 10 days predicted of temps in the 90's and no rain in the forecast. That's pretty hot and dry for us. I am doing most of my yard watering late in the evening or early morning, but I still have some spots that are drying out. 🤷♀️🙏🌧🙏💖
That’s exactly why they do rolling blackouts if so everything in your freezer will spoil and you’d have to buy more. Consumers are the biggest moneymakers and big money companies know this
Well if your freezer goes down because of no power. You don’t open them at all . Things stay frozen. Also dry ice helps keep things cold and frozen. Being in okc , we randomly loose power from storms , car wrecks and such. In 2013 we lost power for DAYS from the tornadoes. We didn’t open anything. Threw dry ice in the freezers and only lost two rolls of hamburger meat.
I just love your property when we I look beyond the videos the trees and the your property is just lovely as Love trees .you look after your animals very well .take care from Australian 🇦🇺🇦🇺🦙🐓🦙Daphne
Your interlude at the creek brings back great memories of my youth swimming 🏊♂️♥ in the creek with cousins and of course the dogs. Likely there are some alpaca babies in your future. 🦙😼
Daniel, funny you're talking about this today. Last night, we a storm roll through our county, took down a lot of trees, power lines and some roofs. Our small community lost power for about four hours from ~ 7:30 PM to ~10:00 PM. I bought a power station this AM from Amazon.
How exciting for the ball players !! I remember when my oldest son was playing at the boys age !! ( he is now 52)The heat !! Oh my !! But loved watching and rooting them on !!👍🏻😀
Thank you for sharing the baseball game, brings back fond memories of my boys playing. As a mom I remember packing ice Coolers for raged for the back of their necks, but 103 degrees that is Hot. Thanks again for sharing.
I remember those days when my son was playing ball this hot South Florida heat felt like you are on fire. Sorry the boys not get to move on but they did there best and that is all you can ask of them. Thank you for sharing ❤️
I know kiddie pools are hard to find, now. But, they do seem to be just the right height for your feathered friends. I watched DeJay’s video first, so I saw her almost get to be the inside of an alpaca sandwich! Those boys did a great job getting to regionals! The creek water on that one side looked horrible. Is that due to the lack of rain, to move it on? Wow! The side y’all were swimming in looked so relaxing! Prayers and Blessings always ♥️🙏💔
OMG! I laughed so hard when you started kissing DeJay in the neck! That was so cute & funny. I guess hormones are raging for the 2 legged animal as well! LOL I’m glad Jerry did finally settle down & leave Dolly alone. I spent the afternoon in my pool with my granddaughter today to stay cool today, too. Not as hot as Oklahoma, but very humid.
Whew! That sounds like our central Georgia heat! Too bad we don't have a nice running creek on our property, though. That looked so refreshing! Hope y'all catch a break from the heat soon!
A weather man I watch said Texas could be 115 without heat index for the last 2 weeks in July. Missouri is joining the drought now too so I pray for everyone.
We're getting the Heat on top of humidity across states from y'all...good Ole KY. Feel for y'all cause we feel it too😵. We were having it in June even which we usually don't have till end of July & all of Aug. weird this yr.
In South Africa we are so used to it by now. Our utility can't provide enough power most of the time, your freezers should be ok for about 10 hours even in the hottest part of the day as long as they are not constantly opened and closed. But a backup solution is always a good idea.

The boys did a very good job. Playing in that heat I could not that. I am of proud them. Best of luck next year. 👍
Wow! I've never seen the part of the creek where y'all were swimming. It's gorgeous!
At least they have shade under trees, 105° is very hot. We have 112° in Las Vegas, but no shade trees on my side of the desert.
Daniel, funny you're talking about this today. Last night, we a storm roll through our county, took down a lot of trees, power lines and some roofs. Our small community lost power for about four hours from ~ 7:30 PM to ~10:00 PM. I bought a power station this AM from Amazon.
Jerry seems so small next to how tall Rufus was. Is he a mini as well? Will he get taller as he gets older?

Bella is just the most awesome dog sure loves her family ..
Yeah we here in Texas r having Heat Waves too. U know that from Lester. Over 105 degrees here in down by Waco area.
How exciting for the ball players !! I remember when my oldest son was playing at the boys age !! ( he is now 52)The heat !! Oh my !! But loved watching and rooting them on !!👍🏻😀
Under the heat conditions the boys great 👍
Daniel your great at keeping your animals taken care of!!
Minnesota is entering a hot weekend too. Hope for rain no storms. Awesome plans
Thank you for taking such good care of your animals.
Enjoy watching the family and animals.
It’s 106 with 68% humidity here in Central Valley California with no let up in sight. Guess that’s why most of us have pools. The heat is no joke🔥
I drove from Oklahoma to Indiana. I'm enjoying sitting outside daily, all day long , in the shade..it's so marvelous
Hi everyone, it's good to see that everything is going well. Congrats to the boys.enjoy that swim.
Water play is so much fun and refreshing, have a great evening. Love, prayers and blessings from Mississippi.
So nice to cool off @ the creek! Love you all - Thx for sharing!
A weather man I watch said Texas could be 115 without heat index for the last 2 weeks in July. Missouri is joining the drought now too so I pray for everyone.
Congrats Houston...your team is a winner for having to play in the worst heat of all I think makes you heroes at heart
We're getting the Heat on top of humidity across states from y'all...good Ole KY. Feel for y'all cause we feel it too😵. We were having it in June even which we usually don't have till end of July & all of Aug. weird this yr.
Thanks Guys
In South Africa we are so used to it by now. Our utility can't provide enough power most of the time, your freezers should be ok for about 10 hours even in the hottest part of the day as long as they are not constantly opened and closed. But a backup solution is always a good idea.
I'm praying for all of the states that need rain 🌧 for the fur babies and the feather babies and for y'alls grass and garden 🙏
That is a scam
@@FishingOHOLIC thank you and that is so true
@@FishingOHOLIC I always take a minute to click on the 3 dots and make a report. If we all did it, you tube might notice and actually do something. Then again, it's probably you tube that does it.
I inherited an Ecoflow River mini when my sister passed. I use it at my cabin to run my CPAP.
