@@MichiganDiesel my buddy laughed because I was looking for work and he recommended his company. My only request was a straight pipe, I think they decided right then I wasn’t their kind of driver lol. I guess when you grow up riding a Mack coal truck with a chrome straight pipe you learn to love it 🐾✌️🇺🇸
That L10 does sound good, an old 2 stroke Detroit sounds good without a muffler, but those can give you a headache if you stay in it all day . Good job Sir 😊
What a sweet little Louie 9000 Tipper, nice crunch free changes on the 8-9 Speed Fuller Range Change gearbox, no hard task towing Old Abe,s 4x4 front Loader. Trailer looks somewhat light, especially the four truck undercarriage with those skinny caravan tyres and lacking a decent power winch. But as you said in the video said trailer does the job, and the wagon is honest ,what you see is what you get, a bit tatty but a willing little worker, like a favorate Cob, not keen on the trilex wheels.
Ah, yet another Michigander dealing with mud season. Can't remember if spring of deceit is next, or actual spring. Enjoy the videos and equipment, keep it up and greetings from Allegan.
Ah, my favorite sound, a straight piped L10 Cummins! Please do another driving video on this truck, but this time, completely raw and unedited, I'd rather be able to hear everything from the engine startup, taking off and running through the gears, cruising, downshifting, stop and go, freeway, all that good stuff, and I want the video as long as possible, with raw uncut L10 footage from beginning to end. Please let me know ASAP.
Put a single straight stack on the side call it a job well done plus you’ll get BIG sound! That ole Cummins sound 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼 Edit: or leave it cut off just like that!
How does it do with a load of dtone in the box? Im thinking of pickung up a triaxle 9000 with 8ll and l10, just was wondering how itll do coming out of the quarries
@@MichiganDiesel . I operated a big Hough that had this. Every jolt on the bucket was felt in the cab! But this being said the worse loader I ever ran was a 275 Michigan rear steer. It was a challenge to say the least. 8-71 powered
I have been very pleased with mine. I took it on a six hour trip yesterday and drove probably another five hours with it today. I have had very little problems with my engine. If you do basic maintenance, it should serve you well.
@@JacksonGuitarsPlayer03 some other small Cummins with engine brakes it could install, anyway. I never bought a medium duty truck before. I wish the M11 or L10 for conversion on International 4400 like someone's truck has a L10 with engine brake on it.
@@janamaro5894 yeah correct some motors can be bought without engine brakes I even seen a old 3406B CAT motor without Jacobs Brakes in the heads. It’ll say “Jacobs” wrote below the top cover if it’s equipped. I love seeing that.
@@janamaro5894 the old L10 and the M11 sound great my previous job had a truck or 2 I know ones the got M11 in it I think from what I heard the other one got one in it too. The L10 sounds great and very familiar. Agree on the coat, it made everything safe which is always the top priority on UA-cam
😂😂 yes sir 👍
I just made the connection. I remember watching your videos on your yellow L9000.
Nice 👍
@@MichiganDiesel haha yup she’s gray now.
Good video , ford L9000 working Cummins L10 , nice 👍
this old truck shifts smooth right threw each gear
Yes it does. I enjoy driving it. Thanks for the watching!
Last time I was unloading wood and it was warm, had no safety jacket on... now my back hurts. I appreciate that you treat safety seriously.
It’s hard to stick with it in the warmer months but your back will thank you later if you do.
Truck sounds way better. Good move
Oh yeah!!!! 👍

Nice 👍 Thanks watching
Back in the 70’s I drove a Ford L with a 3208 and Allison. Very fast!
Nice 👍
Good solid shifting and the sound to go with it. Great job loading the frontend loader. Great videos too!!
Glad you enjoyed the video! I picked up a 1974 f350 that I will have a video on soon.
