Hey there! Welcome to another episode of "Killer Bass Licks". This one is one of my favourite metal/prog bass licks ever, it's from the song Choosh Pies from the band Ivan Mihaljevic & Side Effects. It was featured on the album Destination Unknown (2009). Bass was recorded by Majkl Jagunić, fenomenal player and a great influence on me, as I was once a hufe fan of Ivan Mihaljevic & Side Effects (and now, I happen to play bass in the band... go figure?)
This lick is in E Lydian mode (this is a great opportunity to use a mode in real time)
As always, I'm using my trusty Sire Marcus Miller V7.
