@@Stinger_KDM oh you got black ones already? Yes so there are a few diff ways they make them. One way is you will see the carbon fiber on top and under the product, that is considered full carbon. Then you will see some that have carbon on top but black on bottom, that usually means the carbon was laid on top of ABS plastic or fiber glass or something if the sort. Then you will see some overlayed on top of OEM parts which is also called an overlay.
Most carbon fiber parts will completely replace the OEM part, but sometimes companies give people the option to save money if they want to buy a carbon fiber part that simply stick on top of the OEM part with double sided tape. Not many product will stick on top with double sided tape, only few out there but for good reason because the original carbon fiber replacement piece is so much. Hope that all makes sense!
