I don't understand why AEW isn't moving into smaller venues. The first few years of RAW weren't all in 15000-20000 seat arenas. Until they could get a bigger audience at least, recover some of the damage done, etc

Hands up, I was one of those people who didn't want Punk back, not because of AEW or on behalf of the Elite because I didn't even watch AEW but because my perception of Punk was that he was not an easy guy to work with and at the time WWE was on a rise with the Cody push, the new world title and Roman being all absent dominant.
So I thought that Punk would go in there and demand to be put in the main event. Be the guy pushed to hold the strap throwing away all fo the storylines that they were working so hard on now for over a year.
I wish, so wish that Punk had done an interview similar to what he did a week ago back when he quit WWE, because I think I would have understood him a bit better. But then by Punks own admission he was a different person back then so maybe not.
Now I don't exactly know Punks character. I don't know if he's as humble as he makes himself out to be on that interview but I do think, just looking at what he has done since returning that I was wrong about my perception of his character. If I could and if I thought Punk gave even a little of a $hit about what I thought of him, I would apologize to the man personally.
I was wrong about Punk and it has nothing to do with marking out for AEW, 2011 as a whole made me quit watching Wrestling all together for ten years and it was something that I loved watching so maybe I just unconsciously blamed the main disruptor in all of that years shenanigans for it all and I think I was unfair.
Punk has been amazing since his return and it sucks that he's injured because I think if he wasn't he could have been a lot better. I don't know if I'm a huge fan of punk now because I'm just getting around to liking the guy but I do know that I don't cringe anymore when I think about him working the company and I do know that AEW in regard to this is full of hot air and envy.
I was wrong about Punk. And right now AEW is trash, I hope the good talent bail out soon because this seems to going the same route as WCW went down.
At this point I think the reason WWE lives rent free in AEW's head is not even because they're obsessed with WWE, but it may be because mentioning WWE all the time is the only way they have to "build" stories and, overall, make the show happen, it's just to fill in the time in between the exhibition matches... Cm Punk said it best, "Not a real business", if anyone wants to grow and be successful as a performer, then the only way is going to WWE and then only at the end of your career, you go to AEW, where the money mark pays you millions of dollars to sit on your couch at home

As a licensed Karate fighter , there’s a thing called tunnel vision which causes you to only see everything that is just in front of you which means whoever pissed you off and whoever is around will be the main focus , so try not to judge punk too much
