- Darkseid was actually next in the popularity polls, in fact I think only one person actually asked for Wonder Woman but she's fun and has loops so I thought I'd sneak this one in before moving on to him.

I dont quite understand why Wonder Woman was made so terribly in this game. She has the least specials, the least strings (yes even fewer than zoners), a trait that is entirely random with a whopping 20% chance of getting the one you want and has to burn multiple meters in a corner for decent damage. I was hoping that Desk the god found something that I missed but I guess WW is a disappointment.

I agree. She has a pitiful amount of strings but her damage is decent and her specials are strong.
She's my main but she definitely needs some work done.

How is it that almost no one is about how smooth this guy's transitions from one combo to the next was? At the beginning of the video I was interested in seeing some new Wonder Woman combos, but about 1/3 of the way into the video I just found myself focusing on how smoothly he put this video together. I don't even care about the combos anymore. Lol

I feel like Wonder Woman is doing her best impression of Doom hardkick. LOL
That said, why does it feel like the hits in this game lack the visual "oomph" that I'm normally used to in fighting games? Maybe it's the graphics, with the way the on screen fighters seemingly get lose to the background.
ZRovas117 I think it's the animations, combined with the lack of distinct hitting sounds and a satisfying hitspark. Pay attention to the impact effect on hits. It's just a small white shine! There's no impact there.
God Wonder Woman's animations are lack luster. It looks like the animators were afraid to make her break out of her upright super model pose. She moves like she has arthritis.

My issue with Wonder Woman is that nearly every combo that does decent damage is started in touching them range, which is really hard to get to with her horrible mobility. I need high damage combos that can be started with the tip of her mid range whip attacks.

I liked Wonder Woman in the first Injustice. This WW feels alot weaker and you dont have alot of options in terms of mixups and combos

When you think you wanna skip the boring as stage transition you've seen way too many times already... but remember desk probably has some smooth as character/stage change in mind, so you let it rock and actually enjoy it for the first time in while.

just wondering, do you guys enjoy how much you have to constantly crouch full screen or mid screen in order to block all the fast low projectiles? do you find it fun? or would you rather have it to be able to move around more when your far away from your opponent

I'd grind in this game a bit more if it had music like this. Nether Realm studios make good fighting game but their music suck it always feel like an afterthought just for ambience.

thePhished I don't get how they don't know how to bend their knees. You know, the thing that gives kicks actual force.
If you put the video speed to .25 you can see the bend in the knee and the extension for the kick. It just happens really really fast. Super powers I guess.
Man... I really think this game is cool but geez....9 dlc characters is way too much. Fighting games are going the one route I hoped they never would.
Fighting games are expensive and niche at same time. So you can't make much money with them. Especially, if you're gonna support them for few years.

These combos aren't that good. Don't get me wrong, they're cool combos but they do same amount of damage as a super move. 3-4 meters for the same amount of damage as a super move isn't really good.
gdhahdk hd who gives a fuck not everyone is a complete try hard. Some of us just like executing long stylish combos . That's literally where the satisfaction of playing comes from

Why not turn on competitive mode for these? They're nice combos but the damage values will almost entirely be inaccurate.

I don't get why western games are so into these nicely done but ultimately ugly animations, like those little punches and kicks don't seem powerful at all, same for mortal kombat or killer instinct, there's something i find really boring while looking at it.
It might not just be punches and kicks, the rest of the body seems so rigid

Wonder Woman overall is a uninsteresting character, she is only famous because of the pioneering effect. No wonder why characters like Harley are much more popular than her nowadays.
I really enjoy using her. She's really good.
