I am a triplet and was a thumb sucker too and ended up needing a lot of orthodontic work because my pallet became narrow. Now I have perfect teeth but at the expense of 5 years of braces, wisdoms removed and 4 extractions due to crowding. You're doing the right thing for your family and I love to see it! Congrats on your beautiful family and sorry you have heaps of comments with parenting advice you never asked for 😅.

Adorable! I had a thumb sucker too and I found a person on eBay that made custom gloves that strapped on the thumb and around the wrist and it took about a month and my son stopped sucking his thumb. He would put the glove in his mouth but it didn’t satisfy him and finally he stopped being interested in sucking his thumb. He was a little over one then and has been thumb sucking free for 10 years! I hope this works for you!

i used to suck my thumb and my teeth came out perfect. remember , the teeth they have as children all fall out, so sucking his thumb won’t affect his grown teeth.

I tried the glove, onions, garlic and my son still sucked his thumb. As a mom, I contacted dentist and they did state that they don’t want to intervene until he is 5. My son is 4 and still sucks his thumb. I exclusively breastfeed him and he nerved used a pacifier ever. It was not until he stopped breastfeeding he started to suck in thumb.
They are babies let them be babies he will grow out of it
