Manik ne badi badi filmon mein kaam kiya lekin unfortunately unhe recognition nahi mili
I guess he even played Ghost's role in two horror movies: Ramsay Bros's " Purani Haveli" & Mohan Bhakri's " Amavas ki Raat".
They were good horror movies in those days with nice story lines.
I was traveling to India so I couldn’t watch this episode on time.
This is a fantastic presentation by Hoshangji. It exceeded my expectations!

RIP Manek Irani and yes, growing up as a kid in the mid to late 80s this actor was a prominent villain role player in many movies, how could we forget that face. He was an iconic villain in many movies of that era and a famous on screen face in bollwyood back then. Sad to hear his son also passed away. May their souls be at peace together 🙏
Very nice comment,heart touching feelings
Dada, it’s a great thing you are forwarding the legacy of Tabassumji with same humility & dedication.
@soham❤️
Can't thank Tabassum ji enough for enriching us all these years with these gem episodes and now Hoshang Ji for carrying her legacy forward. This Channel is pure gold for unknown and forgotten gems of Bollywood . Thank you Hoshang Ji for these wonderful episodes . Hope the legacy carries on and lives forever!
@irfan❤️🙏
Sradhanjali to Manik ji....
Manik Irani, mahesh anand and Gavin always intrigued me. Thanks for featuring Manik
Manik Irani, his kid was in our school CJ High school at Tardeo, I remember him in a premier padmini car and sitting on the front seat next to driver, even that time he was drunk..
Very sad that Manik's son also died young though the cause of death is not mentioned in this episode. Did he also die due to alcohol addiction or was there a different reason?
If I remember well, they used to stay in Parsee colony behind Apsara theatre, that area had two famous potato wafer factories Golden wafers (they fried the wafers in front of you, and A-1 Wafers) Incidentally their home was actually was almost between Areas of theatres in place called Grant road. Minerva, Apsara, Novelty, Shalimar, Naaz, Imperial were stones throw away. I mean if movie starts at 9.00 you can leave home by 9.00 walk to the theatre and get in time for the start of the movie as there were some advertisements in public interest before that.
Shocking news especially about his kid!!! Kindly let me know the details.
Woh sab chhodo dost. Yeh bataao tumne kitna pouvva chhadaya thaaa.
😂😂😂
@@AjaataShatru Billa ke bacche ko? Pagal billa ne kaata nahi tha
He was residing in my building... Had a macho build and looks.. Humble person
With love from Bahawalnagar Punjab Pakistan 🌷
Excellent tribute, i remember him since childhood as billa. RIP. Much love from Pakistan.
Manek Irani was offered plenty of films as a villain right till the 90s. Sad to hear that he passed away at a young age of 38 due to his addiction to alcohol. Sad to hear that his son too passed away recently .
Had he been a little responsible, he would still be acting
Manek look ph
Manik Irani & Bob Christo were the real fighters in the movies of 80s. Their physiq and karate style fight thrilled many movie goers. They were better featured in Telugu especially in Chiranjeevi movies.
As a young child in the 80s, I was a big fan of BILLA (Manek Irani). I loved his villian style.
.
Later, as I grew, I tracked him as a goon in many movies like DEEWAR, KAALICHARAN till BAAP NUMBERI BETA DUS NUMBERI. 😊😊😊
.
He actually died while shooting... He got drowned in 1990/91 at SEA near VERSOVA BEACH. Those days there were no swimming jacket provided to the stuntman.
😢😢😢
Good to see you presenting the show so well!! I am Sure Swargiya Tabassum Didi is smiling in heaven at your presentation.
@jupitor❤️🙏
@@TabassumTalkies 🌹🌹🙏🙏
Sir, it seems that Mukesh Rishi filled the gap of Manik Irani in the early 1990s from Gardish film onwards. Good video.
How tragic, what happened to his son? How he died
What is name of her wife, you didn't show her photo
Very valuable information, we all know about big stars but such actors should also be remembered and learn lessons from their life
Tabassum ji will always be remembered as the greatest host
OMG, what a sad ending, also his son passed away that is even more sad. God bless their soul. Thank you very much for sharing this with us. 👍🏽🙏🏽
So, sad to hear about Manik. Allah have mercy
Missing Tabassum ji 😢😢
Same happened to Sir Shetty depression & Alcohol. He used to come in our chawl on 16th Road for country liquor I met him many times asking for money to drink. May His Soul Rest In Peace 🙏
If I am not wrong it was guilt for Shetty sir, someone died on the set when was the action director and he could not come to terms with it. That is different from someone taking up alcohol cause now they have money. I am not trying to demean Manek ji but it has to be pointed out that his case is not the same as Shetty Sir.
At least this program gives crisp clear and short information. Carry on the good work , post the demise of evergreen Tabassum ji.
@yash❤️
MISSING TABUSSUM G AAP B SAHI JARAHE HAI LOVE 😍 4RM PAKISTAN
@fateh❤️
Continue this VLog. We never want to forget your great Lovely mother our respected Tabassum Jee.
Sir, he is very well known actor in telugu 🙏
So sad....Beautiful narration by you .
@hariom❤️🙏
A menacing villain with a great physique. That's what I remember of him.
I really like to hear and know history and the backgrounds of the villains than the hero...their life before Bollywood is interesting. Bollywood never remembers the villains that made their movie blockbuster and make the hero looks good and great on the screen. They never care about them and are simply forgotten.
Person face is unforgatble ...rambo of indian movies
I remember Manik Irani very well . He came in allot of movies along side Mithun fighting scenes . Thanks for sharing this .
Hoshangji you are also a great story teller like your mother ❤
@doma❤️
You are wonderful like your mother 👏👏👏👏😊
Very Good Lesson for All - more such Stories of Tragic Actors cases
looks like he was one of the first in Bollywood to have six pack or 5.pack. He looked Fitter than the so called Heroes in movies. Sad part is there many junior villains during that era and they are all mostly forgotten by Public. only big villains like Amrish puri are in public memory
He has acted with Chiranjeevi Sir's movies in Telugu movies as a villain. Hand ovHand fight scenes were awesome ❤He is very good and stylish Villain❤ RIP Manik Ji❤❤❤
Only u disclosed what happened with Manik....there were no clue on web about him at all......thanks bro....God blesssss👍🙏🙏
Vishwanath me bahut acha role tha ❤
My favourite villian.
Happy to get this information 🙏
I was small and the moment i used to see him on screen i used to get scared 😨😖😖i used to hide behind my dad while they used to watch movies
Once ,I threw my Slipper on to the Screen,due to villaneous acting of Manik Irani...the Movie was " Kalicharan" & " Natwarlal"
I actually found him to be quite attractive.
His physique, height & his “Bad Boy” looks & image, made me kinda crush on him.
He was a black belt in karate.
Some say he died in an accident, some say it was suicide & some say he was an alcoholic.
Either way, so sad that such a young actor was taken so early 😢
It’s also sad to hear about the demise of his son, RIP 🙏🏻
Thanks for sharing this video 👍🏻🙏🏻
Love from London 🇬🇧♥️🙏🏻
Hoshangji,Nice to hear that your diction is as good as Tabassumji.
@fazal❤️
Excellent bhai❤❤❤
Manik Irani's fighting skills were indeed a real fighting skill different from the so called heroes but unfortunately those days of viewers couldn't recognize him
Waheguru ji aj fir der ho gye mujhe ApkA video dekhne me sat shree akal veer ji a great respect to you 🙏
He was one of my favourite villains in the movies 👍👌
Shukriya

He used to do amitabh stunt double
Thanks sirji very nice video good job GOD bless you n protect you always all the best 👍🏻👌🏻👍🏻❤️❤️❤️
@gudbrid❤️
Very nice video sir ❤❤❤
I used to see him in every Chiranjeevi sir's movie!!! Awesome fighter ❤
Thank you for this biography
Andaaz e bayaan wohi hai tera tabassum jaisa. Let the talkies run continuously. We miss u tabassum.
sir I felt very sad
after telling how he spoiled
his life due to drinking
he acted in many Telugu films also
no one should addict with bad habits
very sad thing his son also died
sorry sir
So sad beta bhi chala gaya😢😢
That's so sad.. Maneck Irani was always noticed by me..
He should have been given opportunities to do diverse roles, like comedy.
Should not have been typecast & should not have done repetitive action/villainous roles.
Should have sought professional help at the right time.
Good looking dude. What happened to him was sad to say the least.
I see reflections of him in actor Vikramjeet Virk - another underrated hidden gem who needs to be utilized for diverse roles by big banners.
Manik irani ki life ka ye episode acha lga...ache actor the vo
Nice to see you ❤
First saw him in Hero as Billa. He was scary and crazy.

Extermely sad and emotional video.
I Saw (Muhammad Haque Manik Irani) in A Restaurant in Mumbai. He Drank So Much, 5 People had to Help him to get into his Limousine.
