Good stuff here but something you did but didn’t say explicitly that I think folks might need to hear is that when you started improving over that minor 7 pattern you were doing some rhythmic displacement and it immediately made the lick hipper! Great video.
Am I the only one that does not do licks? I like your practice approach and it is interesting following your journey. I just don't do licks. Just curious really, I never have, though I have had friends do this. I do a lot of transcription, but I don't reproduce those transcription lines explicitly in my improvisation.
yes i know what you mean - i don´t try to use a specific lick in my solo´s either, it just doesn´t sound very organic in my ears. but i like to learn new lines/licks and transpose them. i find new ideas in new lines and i like that and the ways it teaches me to to continue my own lines differently :)
Thanks Tina! Nice perspective on how to apply that altered scale. I will be trying to apply it to my own "voice" on guitar.
Glad it was helpful!
Are you playing into your Blues Deluxe here? Tone sounds really good.
yes :)
I like your ideas Tina, not an easy song to improvise on, this is a good approach, thank you for your lessons
i am happy if it´s helpful :)

oh i didn´t even realize that i am doing that :) thank you for pointing that out!
@ thank you for making great authentic content!!!
NICE~~~~~~~
Altered Scale is all flats. Locrian b4.
My problem can be resolved by your flow. I can play anything you show me. When you improvise, keep me in mind. 😊
Will do!
