How I teach my 3year old toddler at home | preschool activities

My name is Violet and my daughter is Makayla. She turned 3years dec 15th.
I am a stay at home mom of 3kids currently with ages 6years, 3years and 20month old.
I am not a "certified" teacher but I have had the pleasure of during this with my first son and currently doing same with my last two kids.
I hope to take you into what a learning session of ours look like.
In this video, preschool activities we touched on are :
✅Counting activity ( number recognition inclusive)
✅learning to read ( we are currently at the stage of decoding 3letter words Aka CVC words)
✅pattern activity (cognitive thinking and reasoning)
✅story reading
✅writing activity (letter tracing)
I started teaching Makayla since she turned 18months so it has been a journey really...

We are just starting to learn letters and sounds. What did you do to teach these skills? My daughter just turned 3.

I used flashcard with letters on it. I teach the sound first for my kids. I do this like twice a day . Letters in order and then she repeats after me. (Sometimes, she won't at first but don't worry she is listening). With time my daughter was able to recite them with flash cards in order. Then we started to do it out of order after I know she has gotten a good grasp of it in order.
